Red lipstick
never goes out of style, yes? So is pink lipstick. When you look inside my
lipstick drawer, you’ll see different shades of red and pink lipsticks there.
But of course I have my favorites. The ones that never leaves my make up kit
wherever I go. The shades the you’ll always see me wearing in all my photos. I
want to share them with you, because they’re not just my favorites, they’re
also cheap and without doubt, affordable.

This is a
soft red lipstick with a satin finish. It glides on smoothly and leaves a red
tint on the lips all throughout the day. You can never go wrong with this lippy,

I’ve had
enough pink lipsticks in my stash and this is by far the one that really stands
out. For me, at least. It has a pretty
deep pink shade with a beautiful shine finish. This is my go-to lipstick on my
lazy days and wanted to look fresh and well, more girly.
Pixy Silky
Fit Lipstick in Red Chili, Php265 – Around USD5.96

The swatch
on the photo is a bit darker than what the color of this lipstick is really
like. But this is a bright red lipstick with semi-matte finish. It isn’t drying
and actually very smooth, moisturizing and easy to apply. Read my review here.
Etude House

You want a
very pigmented fuchsia pink lipstick? Then grab this tint from Etude House! It
has a very nice color payoff and has a creamy texture. It has a matte finish,
so expect that it can be a bit drying. But believe me, it’s worth it! Just do
not forget to moisturize your lips first before using this one and you’re good
as a rose.
Avon Ultra
Color Matte Lipstick in Matte Merlot, Php379 – Around USD8.52

I love dark
and bold colors on my lips, and this lipstick from Avon is certainly bold and
dark. This is the most-used lipstick in my stash. I can play with it by adding
a dab of black eyeshadow to make it darker, or just wear it as it is. It has a
matte finish and stays for at least 6 hours.
I still have
a couple of lipsticks that I always use, but these 5 is on the top of my list.
They are the elites of my makeup kit. Do not underestimate them just because
they’re cheap, because once you’ve tried them, there’s no going back – in a
good way, of course.
