Hey guys! The Beauty Hit List is back. I
have a new set of favorites that I would love to share with you all. I think
the last beauty hit list post was way back in November. That’s really a long
time! I told you before that it takes a lot of time before I try new things, so
basically, my favorites doesn’t change on a monthly basis, hence the lack of
posts like this. Anyway, let’s see what products got it into the spotlight this
time and the one product you need to stay away from.
Avene Eau Thermale Thermal Spring Water
I so love this facial mist! I have dry areas
on my skin and that makes it hard for me to work on some foundation and powder,
but this one saved me from all the “dry skin” trouble. It hydrates my skin
really well and preps it for any kind of makeup that is not dry-skin friendly.
I love spraying onto my face before and after makeup. It’s so refreshing plus
it is made out of natural ingredients (chemical free). This is surely a lifesaver!
Pink Sugar Honey I’m Good Pen Liner
This
pen is dual eyeliner. One end is pen eyeliner and other is pencil eyeliner.
It's two products with one price tag. What I like about this pen liner is its
100% color opacity. It has a perfect black color which I definitely love.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of its pencil liner, but the liquid pen liner is
superb. The tip is very pointed that you can easily work on winged eyeliner. It
doesn't bleed or fade for up to 6-7 hours of wear time. You just might need an
oil based makeup remover to completely remove it, though.
Celeteque
Blush and Face Contour Kit
I
am getting the hang of contouring. I'd like to try the cream type contour
products, but I realize that I should probably use powder contour first -
Celeteque is a perfect choice for that. The color is just right - not too dark,
not too light. Beginners will find it easier to use because it will suit almost
any skin tone. With Celeteque Contour Kit, you don't have to work for a couple
of minutes blending as it won't give you a harsh line. The shade of the contour
is subtle, but will give a noticeable effect. The blush is also great; it's
matte (the same as the contour powder) and gives a natural flush to the cheeks.
This kit also has a highlighter in it and it has a pretty and soft shimmer.
Physiogel
Daily Moisture Therapy Cream
These
past few weeks my skin breaks out a lot and I don’t know why. But whenever I
do, this cream saves my day. Always.
Physiogel is known for its gentle and sensitive-skin friendly products. This
cream, especially works wonder on my skin every time I have red bumps on my
skin. It will only take 2 days (sometimes overnight) for my red bumps to
disappear. It’s scent free and mild and not sticky at all.
Heroine
Make Jewelry Eye Color
I
have lots of eyeshadow palette in my stash, yet I always end up using this one
from Heroine Make. I am always in a hurry and don’t have time to choose the
color of my eyeshadow, but with the Heroine Make Jewelry Eye Color I have all
the type of shades I need – light, dark, primer, and a playful color. Although
all the shades in this palette have shimmers in it, the fallout is very
minimal. It is also very pigmented and withstand the humid weather.
The Product You Need To Stay Away From
The
Face Shop Blackhead Out Nose Pack
I thought of doing a separate post for
this one, but I don’t want any negativity on my blog. Like, at all. Instead, I
chose to simply give it a special mention and include it here.
I need to warn you to stay away from this
product. This nose pack is the worst I’ve ever used. Why? Because 1) It takes
forever to be completely dry. Nose packs are usually dry after 10-15 minutes,
but this one is different, I have to wait for at least 20-25 before I peel it
off! 2) I have to use a lot of product to remove the blackheads/whiteheads.
Sometimes I have to put on three layers. Three. Layers. Perhaps that’s the
reason why it takes a long time to dry. 3) It doesn’t really remove blackheads/whiteheads
– such a shame. I have used TFS products for a long time now, especially their
skin care products, but this one simply is the worst. I rest my case.
What about you? What are your current favorites?
And the worst product you have ever tried? Comment it down.
