If there is another thing besides makeups that Korean totally nails,
it’s their fashion sense. I remember back in the day when I was a die-hard fan
of this K-drama that I even copied how the main character dresses! Until today,
I can say that most of my outfits are Korean-inspired – because why not? The
only problem is that most of their clothes suit their cold weather and of
course, availability. I even used to buy a pre-ordered shirts from Korea just
to feel the K-wave! And when Mall of Korea invited me to experience their newly
opened store at Metrowalk Complex, Ortigas Pasig City, I just have to go.
The store is big and spacious, which only means
one thing – huge selection of clothes! Racks after racks of clothes are
overwhelming that I had a hard time picking which one to get. There are also
branded clothes like Nina Lee, Luisa Spagnoli, and Disney for in the store. They
also sell Korean accessories and cosmetics (soon). I was told that some of the
popular Korean cosmetics brands such as Etude House, Skinfood, and Memebox will
be available in the store
You can also find men’s and kid’s apparel in the store, but don’t expect too much because there’s only a small selection of those.
The clothes price ranges from 299-2500 pesos per piece. Mall of Korea gave us P2000 worth of shopping card to spend on their soft opening. In all fairness, the garments are not cheap-looking, but I had a hard time choosing something that fits me well. I had to depend on the ones with free sizes.after an hour of fitting different outfits, these are what I ended up buying. After an hour of fitting different outfits, these are what I ended up buying.
Mall of Korea brought the clothes you will only see
in Korean dramas to Manila. Nina Lee, a Korean designer is the one behind Mall
of Korea. She has more than 60 shops in Korea.

On the other hand, the women’s section is all over the place. The branded ones are placed at the center, while the discounted and the local brands are on the sides. The styles of the clothes are very Korean – with ruffles and laces. And of course, the sizes are on the small-to-medium side.
