I love wearing bold and statement lipstick. I love how
it can complete my whole look without even lining my eyes and just go with mascara
alone. I love how it makes my skin look brighter and my teeth whiter. Nonetheless,
that doesn’t stop me to try and wear – from time to time – a nude lipstick or lip
gloss! And my first lippy review of the year, it’s the Sigma Lip Gloss in
Tranquil that I got late last year.
Sigma lipgloss comes in a plastic and simple tube. The
design is very minimal; the name of the shades was printed on each tube with a
holographic effect – which is by the way, really cool. Instead of a doe foot
applicator, this has a brush.
This lip gloss is really thick. You can actually feel
how thick this is when you opened the tube. On the other hand, despite its thick
consistency, the lip gloss is surprisingly less sticky and more watery.
Sigma sent me the Tranquil shade. Tranquil is a sheer
raspberry shade. I thought that it’s more of mauve when I saw the tube, but it’s
sheer and almost clear when applied to the lips. So yeah, it’s more in the nude
zone.
The finish is really smooth, flawless, and of course
glossy. You can perfectly sport the smoky look with this lip gloss or the ‘natural
and beautiful’ scheme too. While I love all about Sigma Lipgloss, I’m afraid
this doesn’t last long. It stays for about 2 hours or so. Anyway, this still
remains inside my daily makeup kit!
