PeriPera Airy Ink Velvet Tints Review

This review is probably way long overdue but better late than never, right? Hihi. I’ve had these PeriPera Airy Ink Velvet Tints for quite a while now. I got one from Althea Korea while the other one was from Charis.  If you are looking for a lip tint with just the right pigment, subtle color, and perfect for everyday use, then this is the tint for you!

Product info:
Product Name: PeriPera Airy Ink Velvet Tint
Price: Php420.00 each
Where to buy: Althea Korea or CHARIS

I have the shades #2 Pretty Orange Pink and #8 Glimpse Brick Brown. The color of these two suits for daily makeup look. The #2 Pretty Orange Pink has a pinkish coral shade while #8 Glimpse Brick Brown is more on a reddish-brown shade. I got these tints at a different time, and my choice of shade was actually affected by my current mode. Back when I got the #2 Pretty Orange Pink I was feeling like I don’t have any coral shade lip products in my stash and although I want to choose a pinkish shade, I chose #2 instead. The same thing happened when I decided to get another shade.

Performance
The first time I used PeriPera Airy Ink Velvet, the first thing that comes to my mind was it feels like I’m using a cloud on my lips. It’s so soft, like tiny, little bubbles was put together and made into these lip tints. To put it simply, it’s like a whipped mousse. LOL
One thing is weird, though. The color pigmentation of the two changes once applied on the lips. Pretty Orange Pink has subtle color that you have to reapply another layer to build up the color. On the other hand, Glimpse Brick Brown, although light in color, is much pigmented than the other. It’s also a bit greasy which the #2 isn’t.

In terms of longevity, #2 Pretty Orange Pink last longer than #8 Glimpse Brick Brown as it leaves a stain on the lips which stays for almost the whole day. Still, it doesn’t change the fact how pretty these tints are.

Overall
PeriPera Airy Ink Velvet is not so bad. The color payoff is buildable and really pretty. This is actually my go-to lip tint during my lazy days (which is every day) since I can also use it as blusher. I can pretty much bring it anywhere too thanks to its cute and small packaging. If there’s one thing for these tints to improve, it’d be the longevity. Such nice colors should stay longer, right?
