Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence SPF50 PA++++ Review

Summer is truly here, and one thing that we shouldn’t skip is putting on sunscreen. Most of us skip this part of their daily skin care and makeup routine but that’s because they haven’t found the right and best sunscreen. I’ve had my fair share of sunscreens and when one of my favorite brands – dear Klair’s – released theirs, I know I have to have it.

Packaging
I love how Klairs does their packaging, they’re simple yet classy. Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence housed in a white minimalistic packaging with a holographic accent. The box itself is very attractive and trendy which made me remember how Korean cosmetics wowed the beauty industry with their unique and pretty style of packing their products.

The tube itself mirrors the box – white with holographic effect. Squeezing the product out is easy and definitely bigger than most sunscreens out there. I think this could last me at least 2-3 months give or take. I only use mine every morning before I do my makeup, but it could last longer depending on your usage.

Performance
The texture of Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence is somewhere between cream and gel. It’s actually almost watery but not runny. Its white color will make you think that it’s a tinted sunscreen but it actually isn’t.

Weightless, scentless, non-greasy, and seamless are the words to best describe Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence. Because of those characteristics, I started to love sunscreens again. I usually skip it every morning especially if the product has strong scent, but that’s not the case with this one. It gets absorbed instantly upon application which allows me to quickly proceed with my moisturizer and makeup afterwards.

For someone with dry skin, Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence is not so bad in moisturizing department. I still have to put on a small amount of moisturizer on top of it before foundation, though. It’s like the first layer of defense of my skin against dryness and the harmful UVA and UVB.

It also leaves a dewy finish and makes you think that you’re not wearing any sunscreen at all AND a vegan friendly too – which makes it the best thing ever.
