Vitapack for Power Whitening Beauty Regimen

These ingredients were designed to work in synergy to be more powerful than when taking individual ingredients alone.

Recommended Intake

For best results, take the contents of one to two sachets a day, preferably in the morning upon waking and in the evening before sleeping.

The real question is… Is it effective?

I only get to try one box of 3-in-1 Beauty Pack, so I don’t really have a photographic nor visible result to show. On the other hand, my experience was quite interesting. For one, my cravings did lessen. Usually, I always look for something to satisfy my taste buds even after meals, but after taking my Vitapack supplements, the cravings were not as strong as before – it’s become bearable and less tempting to eat again.

The whitening claim, not so much. But it’s probably because I only took 10 capsules in total. My skin is less dry, though. It still counts, right? I guess the orange capsule has something to do with that effect as well. Nevertheless, I can’t really say for sure what capsule did what as I was taking them all at the same time. 

As far as whitening lotion is a concern, Vitapack 8-in-1 Whitening Lotion (Php595/90g) has the best scent (candy-floral scent) that I’ve tried so far. Not only that it has 8 benefits, namely Whitening, Moisturizing, Blemish removal, anti-aging, exfoliating, smoothening, and UVA Protection, it also kept my skin smelling fresh all day! What I like about it best is that it is not sticky at all. This is coming from a person who sweats a lot. Plus, you can give the same benefits to your face as well, because it turns out that this is a face and body lotion in one. Boom panes! 

Lastly, the Vitapack 8-in-1 Whitening Soap (Php269/each). I’d like to think that this is the soap version of the lotion because they have the same scent, and the same benefits. Despite it being a whitening soap and all, it was surprisingly moisturizing. It has the same candy-floral scent that lasts for a day. Perhaps using both the soap and lotion together was the reason why my skin smells so nice. It’s also safe to use on the face too! Ha!

So, for power whitening and beauty, you may want to add Vitapack to your daily regimen. You won’t regret it, I promise. You’re also safe because all Vitapack products are FDA approved.

These are just three of the many things that the guests shared with us. After such a fun-filled and skin-dedicated night, I was just so excited to try the whole Dream White line. So, I will share my first impression on them to pique your curiosity.

All five of them have the same mild, powdery scent that I find calming and ideal for a night time skincare routine. 

Kojie.san recommends using the DreamWhite Anti-Aging Soap (Price: P37/65g ; P78/135g) to clean the face; however, I am just not that confident to use soap on my face. Instead, I used it on my body when I had a shower before I go to bed. The soap lathers without leaving my skin dry and squeaky. My skin doesn’t feel tight like the original variant does.

I used DreamWhite Anti-Aging Facial Toner with Collagen (Price: P90/60ml ; P155/100ml) next. Kojie.san made the right choice adding collagen in this toner because it does make my skin softer and smoother even without moisturizer yet! It doesn’t have alcohol, which makes it extra gentle on the skin. One thing is for sure, I will totally repurchase this one.

The Dream White Anti-Aging Overnight Cream (Price: P165/30g) is lightweight, non-sticky, and has a smooth texture. Leaving it on the face during the night made my skin look supple and softer in the morning.

DreamWhite Anti-Aging Cream with Sunscreen (Price: P145/30g) on the other hand is used in the morning and is not part of kojie.san’s pre-sleep routine. This cream will protect the skin from the harmful UV rays thank to its SPF30. It has the same texture and consistency as the overnight cream, the only difference is that it makes the skin instantly brighter and is on the medium-weight side.

And lastly, the DreamWhite Blemish Correcting Cream (Price: P155/30g). It also has the same texture and consistency as the overnight cream. It claims to whiten, exfoliate, and moisturize the skin while gently removing dead skin cells. I don’t really have anything to say about this cream as it has the same feel as the overnight cream. I guess I just have to use it further and see.

Opulence's 3 Products to have Blooming Skin

 Whitening products are probably the most sought out products of Filipinos. Having fair skin is considered as beautiful in our society that’s why the netizens are always on the lookout for the best and most effective one in the market. Today I would like to introduce not one but three whitening products that work from the brand Opulence – Opulence Glycolic Peel Whitening Soap, Opulence Matte Face Cream with SPF30, and Opulence Nutrawhite L-Glutathione + Boosters Capsule.

Opulence Glycolic Peel Whitening Soap, Php130

 Performance

Honestly, I don’t have much to say about this soap as I only get to try one and didn’t get the chance to see its effect. The direction said to leave it on the skin for 30 seconds, but doing so made my skin a little itchy. The itchiness is not a bad thing; this has glycolic acid and it reacts with the top layer of the skin, breaking it down by dissolving sebum and removes the dead skin cells that leave the skin smoother and brighter.

In a way, it did make my skin brighter after I shower for a few hours, but since I only used it for a week (the soap easily melts, btw), there is no lasting effect. Also, it smells like clay.

Opulence Matte Face Cream with SPF30, Php180

 Performance

Among the three, this is the one that I look forward on using. I really have a thing with skincare products. It somehow reminds me of Pond’s Pinkish White Cream as they have the same scent, color, and texture. Opulence Matte Face Cream with SPF30 does not change its color upon application like Pond’s PWC. It’s more of a sun cream with added benefits. I have to use a small amount of it to avoid the heavy feeling. But the good thing is that it works well with dry skin as it hydrates the skin quite well. I don’t recommend it to those with oily skin, though.

Opulence Nutrawhite L-Glutathione + Boosters Capsule, Php1,200 (60s) / Php750 (30s)

Performance

I had a love and hate relationship with this one, that’s why it took me this long to write a review.

I am already taking Vitamin C and E before I start with Opulence glutathione. The brand recommended taking two capsules a day and I did, but only for a week because my acid reflux attacked me big time! I was scared so I stopped taking it the following day. One month later, I gave it another go only this time instead of taking 2 capsules a day, I decided on taking 1, which my stomach seems to approved. Thankfully, I did not experience any discomforts such as dizziness, diarrhea, heartburns, vomiting, nausea, and skin breakouts.

It makes my skin glow, baby! And not just regular glowing skin, but also pinkish and brighter. I can now go out without wearing foundation or BB Cream. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think my skin is a shade lighter now; it’s just that I look blooming the next day after every intake. It made my tan lines slightly even although I am always exposed to the sun. Also, the scars on my face have lightened as well as stretch marks on my thigh. However, if I happen to skip a day, the blooming effect seems to disappear.

The main ingredients of Opulence Nutrawhite Glutathione are: L-Glutathione (GSH), Vitamin C, N-Acetylcystein (NAC), Vitamin E, Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), and Selenomethionine. 

Overall

Out of the three products, what I like the most is the Opulence Nutrawhite Glutathione. In a short amount of time, the effect it gave is rather impressive. I don’t take glutathione on a regular basis, so I think continuous use will have a better result. Plus, it has glutathione boosters and USA FDA approved. Not to mention that it is probably one of the most affordable glutathione in the country.

Kutis Labanos with Le Putih

We cannot deny that Filipinos, love whitening products – whitening soap, whitening lotion, whitening everything! So, whenever there’s a newly released product that promises to make the skin fair, it’s a sure hit. Then I met Aiza, the CEO of Glupa, and introduced to us her newest whitening soap, Le Putih. Aiza together with a small group of bloggers had an intimate afternoon beauty chitchat at Bizu.

Le Putih Whitening Radish Soap is the first ever whitening radish soap in the Philippines. I remember when my lola sees a fair-skinned person they will always say: “Ang puti naman nya, kutis labanos”. Well, it seems like my lola wasn’t the only one who says that because that is the inspiration of Aiza in making Le Putih.

Le Putih is a cold-pressed soap that effectively cleans, lightens skin tone and protect from bacteria without drying the skin. Aside from Radish, Le Putih has Shea Butter, Beta Arbutin, Vitamin C, E, Rice and Oats to smoothen and whiten skin in just 1 week! It also has a sweet orange scent leaving the skin feeling and smelling fresh all day.

Glupa, and antioxidant and skin whitening product line of Age Defying Solutions, Inc., is a relatively new player; an independent in the forest of multinationals and more established players in this market segment. The Glupa soap is cold-pressed, just like Le Putih with a fresh cucumber-melon scent; while the non-greasy lotion has a passionate love scent and can also be used as a concealer. The cream is a facial moisturizer and sunblock that can help lighten dark underarm, elbows, knees and thighs, and reduce age spots and freckles while evening skin tone. The whole Glupa line is FDA approved and has passed the Philippine Institute of Pure and Applied Chemistry assay test.

Snow Aura Whitening Booster Mask Review

Who among you loves facial masks? Me! If you’ll get the chance to see what my vanity table looks like, you will see a number of facial masks – sheet masks, overnight mask, mud pack mask, peel-off mask, everything is in there. My sister always tells me that I am already obsessed, but can you blame me? The soft and smooth feeling it gives to your skin after rinsing it off is just so satisfying. But a mask with gold in it? That’s another story.

Snow Aura Whitening Booster Mask is an overnight facial mask. It contains 24k pure gold that makes it very beneficial to the skin. This is actually my first mask with gold in it, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I know that gold can help reduce wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots; it can even lighten your complexion, but I just have to see for myself, right? 

The mask was packed in a sturdy plastic container with gold accent making it look classy. An applicator is also included in the box for hygienic purposes – which most of the mask pack doesn’t have. 

The mask itself has a creamy texture, light and with minimal scent – like a powder. It is yellowish and becomes shimmery gold when spread onto the face. It doesn’t get dry or anything, the mask will stay as it is the whole time it’s on your face. And since it is an overnight mask, except that your pillows will have a gold stain on it. In fact, that’s the reason why I don’t use it regularly or use it overnight, it tends to get messy in the morning and I am not sure if my skin absorbs all its benefits or if my pillows did. Instead, I use it in the morning, leave it for at least 15-20 minutes before rinsing it off.

But the real question here is: “Is it effective?” “Does it really whiten the skin?”

After using it for a month, I’d say that it is effective, but it doesn’t whiten the skin, it brightens the skin. The effect is instant, after I wash it off, my skin is much brighter all throughout the day, and it has a healthy glow going on as well. However, the effect is not long-term, especially if you are not using it every day. My skin always goes back to its original complexion at the end of the day. So far, I still haven’t noticed any changes on my skin tone, perhaps it has something to do with how I use it. Hence, the lack of before and after photo in this review. Still, an instant brighter skin is a good thing.

Short Review: Pomegranate Gluta Soap

 I just realized that I have tons of whitening soaps waiting to be reviewed, and this one from Happy Hauler should be prioritized because I have it since 2014. >.< Anyway, since I don’t really have much to say about this soap, so I decided to do a short review instead of a very detailed one. After all, I would only  describe the same look, etc..

This soap is actually smaller compared to your regular soaps. It’s pink, and has a cute box too. I think it is made in Thailand so I didn’t really get much information about it. Searching the web is not so helpful too. It’s a good thing that the ingredients and the expiration date are written on the box, and that’s enough for me. 

 What I’m really impressed about this Pomegranate Gluta Soap is how it smells so good! Honestly, I don’t know how pomegranate smells, that’s why I really can’t say that it is indeed smells like one. But let me tell you this, this soap is heaven! The scent is fruity, sweet, and candy in one! I think it smells like berries too. And it lasts for about 3 hours.

However, I didn’t notice any improvements or if it whitens my skin. Or maybe because I only used one soap, and it’s small too, that it only lasted for about a week and a half to me. It didn’t make my skin dry after every wash, so it’s okay.

If you want a soap that smells nice, then you should definitely grab this one. I think there are other variants too, and I would really love to try them out. For the meantime, I will celebrate post-V-day by shopping the casual dresses I love. It’s better late than never. After all, I didn’t get the chance to celebrate it since I was asleep the whole day. LOL Peace out!

Review: Snow Skin Whitening Soap

 There are lots of whitening soaps on the market today and we, Filipinos sometimes don’t know which brand to use or which brand is effective. But then again, while some of you are still figuring out what’s the most effective one, another whitening soap hit the market! Snow Skin Whitening Soap with 7 plant extracts from the Swiss Alps.

The idea of soap really got us here, plus the logo that looks like Snow White. When Vida Nutriscience contacted me to try their products, I was curious so I happily agreed. 

What are the 7 plant extracts from Swiss Alps that this soap claims?

Mallow Extract, Peppermint Extract, Primula Veris Extract, Alchemilla Vulgaris Extract, Veronica Officinalis Extract, Melissa Officinalis Extract, and Achillea Millefolium Extract combined with Papaya Enzymes, Aloe Vera Extract, Vitamins A, C, E, and B3, and Salicylic Acid.

Snow Skin Whitening Soap is yellowish transparent. The scent is neutral, but definitely smells like herbs or something. The soap is not big or small, just the normal sizes of soap, but melts really quick so you better keep it in a dry place.

I got six bar soaps to try and I already used 5 of them in a span of 2 and ½ months. That’s really quick! If I didn’t keep it in a dry place, I think it’ll last shorter than 2 months. That’s how quick this soap melts.

Okay. Is this one good? Yes. Snow Skin Whitening Soap exfoliates and moisturizes my skin well. There wasn’t any stingy sensation while using this soap of after, so it means that it has fewer chemicals in it. Snow Skin Whitening Soap lathers quickly and rinses off quickly – me like-y. After every wash, my skin feels smooth and soft.

I can’t really say that this alone makes my skin lighter – by at least 2 tones – because I am taking whitening supplements as well, but one thing I’m sure, this soap helped.

Review: Gluta Advance White & Firm Soap & Lotion

If you are looking for an affordable whitening combo, then you should try the Gluta Advance White & Firm lotion and soap. These two are really affordable and effective too. For me, this line is much better than their Gluta White line.

The lotion lasted for a month and a half while the soap lasted a month. I can’t say that there’s a noticeable effect after a month of using but what I can tell you is how good these two are giving my skin the glowing effect. 

My skin became more elastic and well moisturized compared to the other whitening products I have tried before that made my skin feels dry every time I use it.

I like how the lotion is not too thick and not too watery in consistency. It’s just right to not give the sticky feeling. The scent is really nice and overwhelming. I know you have experienced the lotion that makes your skin sticky every time you sweat, but Gluta Advance lotion does not. As for the firming factor, I don’t really notice anything but what I do know is this lotion can give enough moisture to my skin and makes it glow. Thanks to the L-Carnitine & Vitamin C that this lotion has. Gluta Advance says that it has sun protection; I’m not sure how much SPF and PA though.

I’d say that if you will use the Gluta Advance lotion you better use the soap as well! They make the perfect combination, improving your skin in terms of healthy-looking effect. Both have Glutathione, Lipofirm, L-Carnitine, Clair Blanche, and Vitamin C as their main active ingredients. Meaning to say that if you’ll use them at the same time, you will get the effect from their main ingredients twice!

The Gluta Advance Soap itself is big and does not melt easily. As a matter of fact, the soap dries fast after I used it. The soap and the lotion have the same relaxing scent. After a month of usage, I’d say that the soap helped to make my skin looks much better. Maybe not whiter, but definitely better.

Review: DermXpert L-Placenta & Gluta White Soaps

With a very unpredictable weather here in the Philippines, it’s hard to decide what we should use for our skin. As the weather changes, our skin care routine also adjusts. But there’s one thing that we, Filipinos doesn’t skip. Whitening & anti-aging. As much as we love our morena skin tone, we also want to have a healthy and glowing skin.  To be honest, I don’t really pay much attention to such, but I also don’t ignore the idea. That’s why I’m here to review these super affordable & effective soaps from DermXpert.

NOTE: I only had one L-Placenta Anti-Aging Soap and one Gluta White Lightening Soap. Meaning to say that I can’t show you the result on my skin since it is not that visible in the photos.

I’ll start with L-Placenta Anti-Aging Soap.

Just because you are still young doesn’t mean that you don’t have to use any anti-aging products yet. The truth is as early as 15 years old; you can actually use an anti-aging product because that’s when your skin is starting to age.

L-Placenta Anti-Aging Soap is a clear soap with a very mild scent. A 135g is actually small and it will only last at least one and a half weeks if used every day. On the third day of using this soap, I noticed how soft my skin is. I also noticed that my skin is getting tighter, but just a teeny tiny difference. I really wanted to share a photo of that result on me, but the difference is not that visible in the photo.

I am sure that with continued usage, I’ll be able to see a more obvious result. But as of now, I will leave you with that. And for P145, this is definitely worth the try.

They said to save the best for last, and that’s what I’m doing right now. Because in just a week and a half, I learned to love Gluta White Lightening Soap. P145

How would I not love a soap that makes me feel like I am bathing in milk? Really, whenever I shower with this soap, all I can smell is milk, milk, and milk. By the smell itself, you can already feel relaxed! Obviously, the main active ingredients of this soap are glutathione and milk protein – both are for whitening, and nourishing the skin.  What more can you ask for?!

I like it so much that I have to slice it into three cuts to make it last! LOL This soap is very moisturizing and leaves my skin really soft and smooth. As for the lightening part, I didn’t really notice much but my skin do feels and looks like healthy glowing. That’s a good thing, right?

It’s a good thing that I didn’t have any allergic reactions and whatsoever while using these soaps. Plus, they’re very affordable! DermXpert have other variants of this soap for different skin types too, so make sure to visit them!

Review: KB Premium Whitening Body Lotion

Trying different products is such a challenge to me. That feeling when you were using it and waiting for it to take effect on you, thrilled me. So when I was given the chance to try this KB Premium Whitening Body Lotion, I didn’t say no. I am, after all, trying to get my skin color back after a couple of days spending under direct sunlight.

I have heard about KB line before, but didn’t bother to buy and try it. Simply because KB’s products are just out of my budget; they’re expensive! Now I know the reason behind the steep price and if you wanted to know what it is, then you may continue reading my review. J

Packed in an easy-squeeze-type white & gold tube, this lotion sure looks classy. The lotion was sealed and is very convenient to use. Though it will be better if a lotion is in the pump-dispenser type. The box has Korean and English writings. And contains natural ingredients.

The texture is very thick. At first, I thought that it might cake on my skin, but it doesn’t. If you have tried the Milky instant whitening lotion thing, then they have the same texture and consistency, yet KB lotion is much better. Because of the thickness of this lotion, I find it hard to spread on my body parts. And you have to blend it really well if you don’t want it to stick to your body-hairs.

KB lotion has this mild floral scent with a sweet undertone that smells really good. You might also find it sticky at first, but after a minute or so, it will be fully absorbed by your skin.

To make things clear, KB lotion isn’t an instant whitening lotion. Nevertheless, it infuses skin with moisture and leaves it a natural, healthy-looking glow. The moisturizing property is impressive as it makes my body fully moisturized all day.

I’ve been using KB lotion for almost a month now, 3 weeks to be exact, and I did notice that it whitens my skin for about a tone lighter. It’s pretty impressive considering that I only use this lotion three to four times a week. Why? To be honest, I don’t know. Am I weird? LOL

But what really makes this lotion impressive is that it brightens your skin every time you use it. You will really notice that your skin is radiant and glowing. Plus, the softness of my skin sure is unexpected. I bet that after two to three months of usage, I will have a fairer and healthier skin. And not just that, because KB lotion also has SPF30 to protect the skin from ultraviolet rays!
