BDJ Box Soiree: Get Pixy-fied Makeup Workshop

I won’t miss an event like makeup workshop – especially if it’s for free. The good news was, BDJ Box invited me to attend their previous Beauty Soiree featuring Pixy Philippines and learn different techniques to achieve the Kawaii look!

The said event was held last July 12, 2014 at The Blackboard by Chef Michel, The Podium Mall. There were about forty (40) girls who attended and got the first dibs on the Pixy Philippines Cosmetics’ first ever Makeup Workshop! Want to know what happened then? You should continue reading, pal. ^^

Before the workshop started, we were treated with a delicious lunch courtesy of The Blackboard by Chef Michel, and boy that was one of the yummiest pancit I have ever tried! And well, I am sure that the girls from our table will definitely agree with me. ^o^

Ms. Liz of Project Vanity did the introduction about the Pixy Cosmetics. Pixy cosmetics are perfect for us, Filipinas. It was formulated in Japan and officially distributed in Indonesia, and now, in the Philippines.

Moving on... Ms. Charm Suerte did a demo on how to achieve the Tokyo Kawaii & Tokyo Glam. And I must say that her name really suits her because she is just so charming and of course, pretty! She does have lots of knowledge about makeups. Especially the tips and tricks that will surely wow you.

Let me show you her work to rock your day and night makeup look! Photos by Gen-zel, www.genzelkisses.com

What do you think? It’s pretty, yes? And while Ms. Charm is doing the demo, we were asked to bring out our own kikay kits and start doing or even re-create our own Tokyo look. The two girls with the best Tokyo look will win Pixy Gift pacts, and guess what? Well, I won! =)) Here’s my winning look and named it the Pixy-Foxy Look.

Oha! Smoky eye ang peg ng lola mo!

Products I used for this look were:

Kate Powderless Liquid Foundation
It’s Skin Babyface Natural Eyebrow
Etude House Drawing Show Brush Liner
Pixy Eyeshadow in Sorrel Brown and Bronze Delight
Pixy Blush On in Brown Tan
Pixy Silky Fit Lipstick in 26 Satin

And let me introduce you to these girls who made the noisiest and funniest table during the event. Hoping to see these girls again because they’re just fantastic and gorgeous!

Of course, BDJ box and Pixy did not let us go home empty handed and gave each of us these wonderful loot bags. And since I won and got Pixy-fied, I might as well share it with you guys. Giveaway, perhaps? Hihi

Once again, thank you to BDJ Box and Pixy Philippines for yet another day full of fun and beauty. I did learned many makeup techniques from Ms. Charm! And I think I just found a new favorite brand. Hmmm.. Pixy makeups price ranges from P140 - P500. They're so good and so affordable, girl!

BDJ Box Beauty Social: Tres Chic

Bonjour, Bella's! Just recently, BDJ Box has once again organized an event. It is the BDJ Box Beauty Social and this time, the theme was Tres Chic, which was held last March 23, 2014 at SM Aura Samsung Hall. And of course, as a Bella myself, I didn't let it pass and attended the event with my sister.

Our assigned talk was at 1pm but we arrived at the venue one hour early to roam around the brand partners of BDJ Box. Here are most of the booths that we visited.
These are most of the booths at the event. I didn't took a picture of them all mainly because I was only using my phone as my camera that day and the venue is sort of masikip na because of so many attendees.
So, our first talk was the one with Sarah Black, featuring Canon. I chose this talk because I really want to learn any tips and tricks in taking photos and I really did learned some. Ms. Sarah Black is really pretty, she has a very nice skin and hair, in short, I envy her. LOL I actually spent the whole talk staring at her. ^^ She gave us few tips on how to take a good selfie which of course, interest all of us. :)

Our second talk was just after the first. It's the Up Close and Flawless with Max Factor. Bobbyi Carlos showed us his playful summer look and gave us tips on what makeup we should wear during summer. They also introduced the Max Factor's newest product, the whipped cream foundation. And guess what? All of us in the talk got a free sample of that product. Yay!

Thanks to BDJ Box, I was able to meet my blogger buddies again. Too bad we didn’t hang out much then but it was still fun! All of us received a loot bag which I forgot to take a photo before using some.

It was yet another event full of fun, and beauty! I really learned a lot from the talk’s I’m in. And I can’t wait for the next BDJ Box Social! Once again, thank you BDJ team!

Etude House Princess Academy Day 2

Hello Princes and Princesses~!!! I guess by that word you already know that this post is all about Etude House, and yes you are certainly right! Last July 27 & 28, Etude House Philippines held another spectacular event called the Princess Academy. It was two-day event held at SM North The Block from 1:00pm-7:00pm that allows every Princes and Princess feel royalty. There are a lot of booths that you can play, enjoy and win prizes.

I arrived at around 3:00pm and its seriously late and lame of me >.<  to also think that i don't have a definite company that day, even though I now that most of my blogger friends will be there. :) Upon entering the venue, the first person I knew that I saw was Ana then I saw Amz who I was with the whole time I was in the event. :)

Let me first show you what's inside the Etude House Princess Academy~!!!

We tried our best to finish all the play booths but because of the long line, we decided to cut it off and also because the prizes are all the same~ kkkk. There's a Kiss the Prince, Spin the Wheel, Photo booths, Mirror Mirror, Treasure Hunt & Nail Bowling. And of course, the event would not be complete if the yummy sweets from Tous les jours wasn't there.. so each ticket holder can claim one pink macaroon, pink heart-shaped cookie, pink cola and pink cotton candy. Everything is on PINK! and all of them were Pinky-licious~ ♥

Of course Betsy was also present; ever since she came here she's always been in each event of Etude house. It was my first time meeting her and it's been so nice! ^o^ She's very pretty, has a very long lashes, pouty lips and an all over pink color, who wouldn't like to own her?

Yes! there was celebrity guest too! Paul, Miles, Empress, tikoy & Dominic who I got the chance to see in person, sadly I didn't get the chance to see Ella Cruz because I was so damn late >.<  They played some in the booths, took pictures and do the gwiyomi dance craze! :)) And by the way, i have this little crush on Dominic *blushes*

The program was ended with the much awaited Pink Artist Final Make-up Showdown!
The new Pink Artist, Shebby was so pretty! ~ :) ♥ Congratulations to you dear! Will wait for your upcoming makeup tutorials. Ada got the second place and the girl named Kyala got the third place! they are so lucky!

That's Genzel & Amz whom I got the chance to take photo with me. I met a lot of friends during the event but I was so busy playing games with Amz that I didn't noticed they already gone home and that they were looking for me too! Hahaha Anyway, I know there are still lots of events that we'll definitely meet again!

With my very own tiara~

You might have seen this one on my instagram acount. These are the products that I took home after the event. The full-size products were included in the bloggers loot.

I really had fun during the event! It was really spectacular, royal, and magical day that I will never forget! Now I wonder why I didn't attend their Pink Fair last year. =o=. I was exhausted but it's all worth it!

I hope to see you next year! ♥

Lancôme Hypnose Show Collection by Albert Elbaz

Last June 22, I had a very exclusive opportunity to attend the Lancôme Hypnose Show by Albert Elbaz together with my friends Gina & Genzel. The event was held in Rustan's Shangri-la and started at 4:00pm and that time I was not late LOL.

Anyway, let's get back to the event.

I really love the venue of the event, it was in between of two mirrored escalators perfect for our vain-selves. Haha!

This chair is so gorgeous.. it's like a chair version of Cinderella's glass slippers (No, the chair are not made out of glass, it's plastics!) and each has flier card of the show with a Hypnose button pin. *The three of us, Gina, Genzel and yours truly have 2 button pins each. LOL

Lancôme Nail Polish - Php995 & Lancôme Lip Gloss (Price, I don't know)

These are GWP's for every purchase worth Php7,000.

These box has the whole Hypnose Mascara Collection, while I & Gina thought that it might be the freebies we will get after the show *ambisosya!* Haha.

The event host, Angel. She is so lovely & pretty.

And the model that day, Nikita. She has a very nice skin. :) I envy her!

Of course, foods are present. LOL! (I am on a diet, ahem!) We had a lil problem eating coz there was not table haha so we have to hold our plates while eating, good thing that there was a vacant chair in front of us where we put our drinks. :)

Let me show you the whole Lancôme Hypnose by Albert Elbaz Collection - Limited Edition

The star of the whole collection, the Lancôme Hypnose; Star, Doll Eyes & Hypnose Mascara.
Each cost - Php1895 / USD50+

Lancôme False Lashes by Albert Elbaz - Php2895 / USD75

Lancôme Hypnose palettes by Albert Elbaz
Drama, Star & Doll palette - Php2995 / USD75+
Mono Eyeshadows - Php1895 / USD45+

Now that i remember, I should have swatched these eyeshadows, right? Grrrr!! Why am I so forgetful? Anyway, these palettes has the Wet technology, when you apply it using your wet brushes then you'll get a very vibrant color. You don't need to apply eye primer to have a very pigmented shade. :)

Fatty me! Haha

With the girls whom I enjoyed the event with, Genzel & Gina. I will never forget this event. We were almost laughing and giggling the whole time we are together. XD

And oh, me and Gina actually answered the question quiz so we get an extra set of freebies.
The show is so worth my time. I learned a lot from Skin care to makeup application. :D
