MUA Heaven and Earth Eyeshadow Palette

What color comes to your mind when you heard “Heaven and Earth”? White and brown, perhaps? Make Up Academy (MUA) has this eyeshadow palette that consist the pretty shades that would definitely remind you of Heaven and Earth.

I got this late 2013 from Awungshi of Dr. PoisonIvy’s BeautyBlog when we had our first makeup swap. Since I still have my UD Naked 2, I didn’t use this palette right away until last month. And after all those times, I decided to do this review now.
This palette has 12 beautiful shades and all of those have shimmers. So far, this is my first palette from MUA and it didn’t disappoint me. The palette comes with a black double-ended sponge applicator which I don’t usually use because there is a little bit of fallout, but not a bad bad fall-out. Just swipe it away with your brush and it’s gone. I prefer to use a different eyeshadow brush when using this palette.

MUA Heaven and earth consist of 12 neutral shades such as; beige, cream, bronze, dark browns, gold and such. Those shades are actually my colors. They’re very pigmented and you won’t be needing an eye primer before using this one. You can create a lot of looks with this palette that is perfect for day and evening wear. Heaven and earth have a smooth texture that allows a streak-free blending.

I personally think that this one is a good dupe for Naked 2. All 12 shades are wearable and so pretty. Considering its very cheap price tag, you wouldn’t ask for more. And if you want to try more shades, there are still 8 other variants of this palette.

The staying power is pretty impressive as it stays for about 4-6 hours prior. And that’s without any primer on! No wonder it’s always sold out in MUA store. For only £4.00 | PHP294.43 | USD6.60, the quality sure is great. With that, this became one of my favorite products!

REVIEW | MUA Out There Plumping Lipgloss in Pin up Pink

Long time no post, eh? Has it been a week and a day already? :) MUA Out there Plumping lip gloss in pin up pink is the star today! Honestly, I really missed blogging~!! I am trying so hard to update this every once in a while but it seems like my school schedule is driving me nuts. They wanted me in school 6 days a week and that is no joke, right right? >.< I chose that schedule anyway hahaha!

Back to track, I received this MUA out there plumping lip gloss from my friend, Phil. I started using this a week ago and I'd say that it became my favorite already. Wanna know why? continue reading then...

 PRODUCT INFO:

BRAND: Make Up Academy - MUA Professional
NAME: Out There Plumping Lip Gloss in Pin Up Pink
PRICE: £2.00
WHERE to BUY: MUA Store

PACKAGING:    Nothing really special about its packaging, just the usual long slim type tube and a doefoot applicator. All informations is written in English but the net volume of the product is absent, it doesn't matter anyway.

VERDICT:    It's gorgeous! am I wrong? This is a super pigmented lip gloss, it almost looks like a cream lipstick to me. Pin up pink has a rich sheer raspberry pink shade. The color is really pretty and gives a plumping effect on lips. It'll make your lips fuller and settles on my chapped lips perfectly without the super greasy feeling, although this is still sticky but take note that this one is lipgloss so that fact is only natural.

The lasting effect is also impressive, it takes 4-5 hours to finally fade off. It also leaves a soft feeling on lips and not drying in any way. No weird scent or even weird taste (it's not like i'm tasting it, lol) either.

Downside? Well, there are some, like; there is a tingling sensation when worn and that maybe the reason for its plumping effect and it is not available locally, you might need to order it online if you really want to try this one.

But overall, this lipgloss is really good and worth the try! So, it's all thanks to Phil for sending me this one & I might try the other MUA products too if I could find an online shop who sells MUA for a cheap price. :)

Overall Rating:    4/5
