Sunscreens You Should Totally Have from Biore UV

Summer is getting to an end. We’re definitely going there. But that doesn’t mean that sunscreens or sunblock is no longer needed. You are very wrong on that! You can’t use the excuse “I don’t really go out, so why wear a sun protection?” because it is so“not okay” to skip it. Especially to this kind of weather we have here in the Philippines! And I guess Biore UV just knew that I am in need of a new sunscreen, so they sent me not one, but two!

I can give you a few reasons why you should wear sunscreen, but first, let me share how these sunscreens of Biore UV, the no. 1 sunscreen brand from Japan differ from others.

Unlike other sun protection products that are icky-sticky, greasy-uneasy, Biore UV feels light, comfortable, and smooth. There is totally no waiting time because it is easily absorbed by your skin after application.  With SPF50+ and PA++++, Biorè UV instantly provides you maximum protection from UVA and UVB rays which cause skin darkening and skin aging.  And to top it all off, Biorè UV is sweat-proof and works as a make-up base as well!

You can choose any from the two series of Biore UV – Aqua Rich Series or the Perfect Series. Both have something to offer, and well, since I have one of each series, I thought you’d like to know what I have to say.

The Aqua Rich Watery Essence is very light even with SPF50 and PA++++. It’s quite yellowish but becomes transparent after spreading it out. Upon application, you will notice a water-drops-like forming on the skin; it is the unique aqua micro capsules. (Refer to the photo below.) It feels fresh and hydrates the skin well.

And the Perfect Face Milk, with the name itself, has a milk nutrient in it. Its ultra-light and non-sticky with a matte finish. This Perfect Face Milk is also weightless and contains sebum-absorbing powder that controls oil and shine. I also love to use it on my body before I apply my favorite lotion.

Before I end this post, let me tell you a few of the benefits of wearing sunscreen, summer or not.

• Prevents skin discoloration and dark spots
• Your shield against skin cancer
• Reduces blotchiness of the face and the appearance of facial red veins
• Slows down the aging of the skin.

Are you still gonna skip the “sunscreen part of your skincare routine? Probably not.
Let Biore UV protect your skin from the harmful UV rays.

Biore UV is available in Watsons stores and supermarket.

REVIEW | Dermplus Moisturizing Sunblock - X80, For Kids, & U130

A lot of us think that using a sunblock is only during the summer. I, myself am actually guilty of that. Think of this, with the weather like it’s always summer here in our country, it only seems natural that sunblock should be for everyday use.

If by any chance, you are still looking for the perfect sunblock, with enough SPF to protect your skin, then, I want you to meet, Dermplus Sunblocks. Dermplus Moisturizing: X 80 Sunblock – with SPF80; Sunblock for Kids – with SPF80; and U-130 Sunblock – with SPF130.
Playful and colorful design is what makes Dermplus products interesting. They’re simple yet there’s something really catchy about the way they pack their sunblocks. Though the only problem is that they forgot to put a seal to avoid any spill out, after all, these sunblocks are in squeeze-type tubes. Since they aren’t bulky, you can carry them around with you.

You’re looking for a protection from the sun that causes skin damage? Dermplus is what you are looking for! With its enough way too much SPF, you won’t have to worry anymore. Plus, Dermplus also have a variant for kids as well. These sunblocks are also PABA free and water Resistant. Go swim all you want and you’d still be protected.
Another good thing about this sunblock is that it doesn’t have a scent. Dermplus sunblock has watery, non-greasy, and a very lightweight texture. With dewy finish, you can actually use it as your base makeup before applying foundation or BB cream.
The moisturizing property is very impressive. It could act as your moisturizer and sunblock all at once without feeling heavy. The sunblock itself is white in color, not tinted, yet it can brighten your skin and gives a healthy looking glow. Or maybe it is all because of the dewiness of the sunblock.

Dermplus Moisturizing Sunblock would be your best choice to protect and prevent any skin damages that causes by the harmful UVA & UVB. You can now stay under the sun doing whatever your like and have fun, and let Dermplus Sunblock take charge for your skin!

Available in all leading drugstores, selected supermarkets, and department stores nationwide.

REVIEW | B.liv Got Me Covered Sunblock + Foundation

Foundations are known for its good coverage but the one I have now is pretty much different to those of your known usual foundations, B.liv by Cellnique Got Me Covered, is a sunblock with foundation (SPF35, PA+++). So if you were a foundation-type and yet in need a sufficient UVA protection, then you might wanna try this product.

PRODUCT INFO:

BRAND: b.liv by Cellnique
NAME: Got me Covered sunblock + foundation
Best for oily, combination skin and all ages
NET Wt: 45ml
MADE in SINGAPORE
PRICE: USD32.00
WHERE to BUY: Cellnique

•PACKAGING: This is the nicest packaging I ever encounter. I am really impressed on how neatly they did their product packaging. It comes in a pump type, which is the very usual packaging you'll see in any other liquid foundations. It's box also has all information's -the description, ingredients, usage & expiration date- on the back. I want you to look closely on the lower part of the tube, can you see the solid white on the bottom part? it is connected to the pump. As you uses this product that circular solid white will go up to push the cream and give you the right amount to use. On that case, you will not have to turn it upside down when it'll be about to get empty.

•SWATCH & VERDICT: Choosing the right shade of foundation is really time consuming, (that is why I am more of bb cream-type) but this one only has one shade available. But worry not because it will definitely match your skin tone. For me, this Got me covered is more of a sunblock than a foundation. It has a light-medium coverage and not greasy at all. As of it's texture, I'd say that that is the most wonderful factor of this product. Why? When I applied it on my face, it feels nothing as in... nothing! It's like a lotion that was absorbed that fast by my skin yet gave me a soft and silky feeling, but doesn't streak, cake, or look thick even if applied in layers. The scent is also nice, calming and not overwhelming. Got me covered also has a decent staying power for about 6-7 hours without retouching and controls oil at the same time.

It's a two-in-one product with many benefits such as; keeps acne and oil under control, offers sun protection, unclogs pores, helps remove blackheads and whiteheads, soothes & hydrates skin, and anti-oxidant. (based on Cellnique website)

So if you will splurge on a sunblock or foundation, Got me covered is it.

A big thanks to b.liv by Cellnique for sending me this product for review. This review are based on my own experience and honest opinion.
