Kiss Me Heroine Make Jewelry Eyecolor - Beige Gold & Rose Garner

Each time that I have a new makeup I have this urge to use and try it instantly. But that’s the thing with bloggers; (I know that I am not the only one that faces this problem) when a product doesn’t have a photo yet, you can’t use it. I had these eyeshadow palettes a long time ago, and I guess you can imagine how hard it is for me not to swatch and try these Kiss Me Heroine Make Jewelry Eyecolor palettes on. I mean, the colors are all my favorites and all.

Kiss Me Heroine Make Jewelry Eyecolor is divided into four sections: 3 eyecolors and 1 primer (you can also use it alone since it’s actually a cream shadow).  There are four different shades available and I have here the Rose Garnet (my favorite) and Beige Gold.
It is up to you if you want to use each color alone or mix it together to create a much dramatic look. You can create as much as 15 or more different looks with one palette, the only limit is your imagination on how you will mix and match each shade.

Each palette comes with its own applicator, although small, it works quite well. The packaging is made of acrylic plastic and the eyeshadow can be easily removed from the palette. So yeah, you can remove your favorite shade and transfer it to your customize palette.

Moving on to the actual work of Kiss Me Heroine Make Jewelry Eyecolor… I didn’t expect it to be this pigmented. See the swatches below.

Yes, I have seen these eyeshadows in action during the launching, but I hadn’t really tried it myself, until now. Primer is no longer needed (it doesn’t really help build up the colors anyway) to see how nice and insane the payoff of each color of this quad-palette. The fallout is very minimal.

The palettes all have the same metallic, shimmering, and frost finish. It would be really perfect if there is at least one matte eyeshadow in the palette to intensify the use of the darkest shades in the palette. Staying power is okay, it lasts for about 4-5 hours without primer, and another couple of hours with.
Is it worth it? Yes! You may think that it’s expensive (it retails for Php650 each), but you will get an eyeshadow and primer in one, so that’s pretty much a good deal. You can get it in all SM Department Stores and Watson’s Stores.

Heroine Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner Review

It’s been forever since my last liquid eyeliner. The moment I knew about the existence of pen liners, it’s the only thing I use. I even snobbed gel liners! When I got my hands on this Heroine Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner, every liquid eyeliners that I have tried before flooded my memory. Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration.
This is the eyeliner that I have been reaching for daily use. It has a soft, fine brush that will make any eyeliner style application easier. Beginners might have a little problem with control over the applicator because the brush is a little longer than normal liquid liners. You’ll get the hang of it if you practice. Trust me. With its fine brush, I can easily do a winged eyeliner and haven’t had any problem with the brush shedding.

Heroine Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner is a full, rich black and is very pigmented. Plus, the finish is matte and it looks amazing! The perfect eyeliner to use for any dramatic look. It’s as if you used gel eyeliner. See my swatches below:
As much as I wanted this eyeliner to be perfect, I couldn’t. It’s not smudge proof and I did notice it transferring to my lower lids, it’s barely noticeable, though. Nonetheless, this one’s waterproof and needed the help of your favorite makeup remover. What I do to avoid the smearing/smudging is to set it with a black eyeshadow or apply my smudge proof eyeliner on top of it.

Smudging aside, it does stays all day without fading or flaking – that is if you can avoid not rubbing your eyes. It also dries up real quick so you don’t have to keep your eyes closed until it does. I have oily eyelids, and there are times when I think that it is the reason of the smudging. So if you have the same eyelids condition as mine, then I recommend you use an eye primer first.

Overall, despite the transferring and a bit of smudging, I still love this Heroine Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner. I can create the sharpest winged eyeliner with this one and the finish is just great. I can always remove the transferring on my lower lid and I can always avoid rubbing my eyes. And that’s what love is all about. Peace out.

What is your current eyeliner?

Heroine Make Launches the Jewelry Eye Color

Kiss Me Heroine Make by Isehan is one of the well-known Japanese makeup brand in Asia. They recently launched an addition to their eye makeup collection called Jewelry Eye Color.

The Jewelry Eye Color make-up that comes in four special variants: Yellow Sapphire, Beige, Gold, Pink Amethyst, and Rose Garnet; are super long lasting, waterproof, smudge proof, and perfect for the busy and active Filipina.
Just last month, they invited me to meet and learn new makeup techniques  by Kiss Me Heroine Make makeup artist from Japan, Miss Sayuri Igarashi. She showed us how to do a day and night makeup look using two of the Heroine Make Jewelry Eye Color.

She further said that the products of KISS ME Heroine Make are perfect for the Asian skin and weather where the demand for “all-weather” make-up that withstands the rigors of heat, humidity, rain and sweat are ever increasing.

Among the four eyeshadows of Jewelry Eye Color, this is my favorite, the #4 Rose Garnet. It’s simple and can be worn on day or night outs, or even on formal events too. And I would love to share an in-depth review of this soonest.

Have you tried anything from this brand?
