Heroine Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner Review

It’s been forever since my last liquid eyeliner. The moment I knew about the existence of pen liners, it’s the only thing I use. I even snobbed gel liners! When I got my hands on this Heroine Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner, every liquid eyeliners that I have tried before flooded my memory. Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration.
This is the eyeliner that I have been reaching for daily use. It has a soft, fine brush that will make any eyeliner style application easier. Beginners might have a little problem with control over the applicator because the brush is a little longer than normal liquid liners. You’ll get the hang of it if you practice. Trust me. With its fine brush, I can easily do a winged eyeliner and haven’t had any problem with the brush shedding.

Heroine Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner is a full, rich black and is very pigmented. Plus, the finish is matte and it looks amazing! The perfect eyeliner to use for any dramatic look. It’s as if you used gel eyeliner. See my swatches below:
As much as I wanted this eyeliner to be perfect, I couldn’t. It’s not smudge proof and I did notice it transferring to my lower lids, it’s barely noticeable, though. Nonetheless, this one’s waterproof and needed the help of your favorite makeup remover. What I do to avoid the smearing/smudging is to set it with a black eyeshadow or apply my smudge proof eyeliner on top of it.

Smudging aside, it does stays all day without fading or flaking – that is if you can avoid not rubbing your eyes. It also dries up real quick so you don’t have to keep your eyes closed until it does. I have oily eyelids, and there are times when I think that it is the reason of the smudging. So if you have the same eyelids condition as mine, then I recommend you use an eye primer first.

Overall, despite the transferring and a bit of smudging, I still love this Heroine Make Impact Liquid Eyeliner. I can create the sharpest winged eyeliner with this one and the finish is just great. I can always remove the transferring on my lower lid and I can always avoid rubbing my eyes. And that’s what love is all about. Peace out.
