REVIEW | Virginia Olsen's Summer Shades - Sphinx, Pumpkin & Midnight Glam

I've been browsing my photo's here in my laptop when I, unexpectedly saw the pictures I had of the samples I got from Virginia Olsen from their 2013 Summer Collection Bloggers launch and decided to do a quick review about 'em. This time, they gave me three(3) shades from their Summer Collection of my choice. I chose Sphinx, Pumpkin & Midnight Glam eyeshadows.

PRODUCT INFO:

NAME: Sphinx, Pumpkin & Midnight Glam Eyeshadows
PRICE: Php150
WHERE to BUY: Virginia Olsen
MADE in USA

Since what I got is only the samples I can't say much about it's packaging. And I don't think if they are selling samples.

Looking at these colors will make you really feel the summer breeze, am I right? (although summer is over here in PH) LOL. The colors looks so refreshing! I've been really wanting to try Virginia Olsen's eyeshadows ever since I heard of them, and now I really can say that their eyeshadows were great! The powder is very fine and smooth. I so love mineral eyeshadows!  They have no-scent at all.

♥SWATCHES & VERDICT: Here they are~~!! I swatched them on my arm without eye primer and look how pigmented they are. That is why I love mineral/loose eye shadows. Fall outs is given in any loose eye shadow though. Virginia Olsen's eyeshadows are versatile, you can use them as eyeshadows, eye liners, blush & highlighting, and that is why I chose these three. I sometimes uses the Midnight Glam as eyeliner, the Pumpkin as blush and the Sphinx as highlighter. :) Can you imagine how they look? :D I know, they're very pretty!

Did I miss something? comment them down below. xoxo

REVIEW | Oceanmist Cosmetics Mineral Eyeshadows

As you may know I am into eye shadows these days and I really don't have an idea why. I used to wear nude or natural eye make-up but now, I come to like colorful make-ups. While watching those youtube guru's I realized that mineral make ups especially the eye shadows are much better when it comes to pigmentation. I have tried numbers of mineral makeup brands and now, I'd like to introduce you Oceanmist Cosmetics
Ocean Mist Cosmetics is a family owned business that offers high quality, affordable mineral makeup and other cosmetics to our customers.  We believe in being personal as well as professional with our customers. Always feel free to contact us with any questions, concerns, or comments that you may have.
Oceanmist Cosmetics were kind enough to send me samples to try for review purposes. And this time, I will reviews first their mineral eyeshadows. :)

PRODUCT INFO:

PRICE: Full Size $6.95 - 1 tsp in a 10g sifter jar
Travel Size $3.80 - 1/2 tsp in a 5g sifter jar
Sample Size $1.35 - 1/8 tsp in a sample bag
WHERE to BUY: Oceanmist Cosmetics

Oceanmist Cosmetics sent me 7 shades of my choice, one in a full size and 6 on sample packs which probably contains 1/8tsp each. :) So I decided to buy cream jars for my convenience of using those eye shadows.

As you can see, there are still a lot left in those plastics so I might give out those. :)

♥ VERDICT: The eye shadows are very pigmented with or without eye primers. Although the names are quite weird, I'd say that they really fit the shades. I only have one matte and the rest are all shimmery, and my favorite shade is the Fairy dust. I really love the super shimmering effect of it, plus it really compliments the orange brownish color. Every eye shadow does not have any scent. Since they are loose type, fall outs is given but not that much. One swipe and it'll give you the color you'll truly love. LOL! The staying power is also good, it last the whole day even without retouching.

Overall Rating:    4/5

Many Thanks to Oceanmist Cosmetics for sending me these babies!
