REVIEW | Ocean Mist 24K Bronzer, Pink Mist Blush & Ingenue Foundation

Hello ladies! Before I start reading another novel again, I would like to at least leave you another product review that Oceanmist Cosmetics sent me. This is going to be the what you called "Review Trio", I made that up, 'em sorry! Hahaha. I rarely do this kind of reviews, coz I think doing an individual reviews will make my readers know more about the product.

So what I'll be reviewing are; Oceanmist Cosmetics 24K Bronzer, Pink Mist Blush & Ingenue Foundation. I really like powder foundation ever since I got to try the JewelPOP one so I tend to find a better product to use next and luckily they did sent me one, although I'm not the bronze and blush person I think I should give it a try. :)

PRODUCT INFO:

BRAND: Oceanmist Cosmetics
NAME: 24k Bronzer, Ingenue Foundation & Pink Mist Blush
PRICE: Refer to this links:
Foundation: http://www.oceanmistcosmetics.com/products/Ingenue_Mineral_Foundation_Neutral_Light_No_1_Seller-71-1.html
Bronzer & blush:

PACKAGING: The packaging is not in the way I expected it to be. I mean, who would have thought that these would come in a very small containers? I can't even let out the product from those small holes. Maybe it's not the full size packaging but still its not convenient to use. But what I like here is that the ingredients of these mineral make-up is written under the jars. :)

SWATCHES & VERDICT:
I think that I made a wrong choice of this foundation. It's too light on me. So setting a bb cream with this is not a very good idea. Just like my favorite mineral foundation - the JewelPOP One Step Mineral Powder Foundation - I tend to use this Ingenue Foundation alone. It does not have an shimmers in it, so technically, this one has a matte finish. The coverage is light-medium. And the powder is fine that's easy to apply and spread all over the face. No scent either. Staying power, 4-5 hours.
Overall Rating:  4/5

24K Bronzer. I don't usually contour my face - I have a very rounded face, tbh - because..... well, it's a waste of time. Hahaha! I'm always the late-person so rushing things is my expertise. And to contour my face for my make-up is not my thing, but still, I wanted to try things out. Thing bronze is very pigmented indeed. Just look how the color is so vibrant on  my arm. Unlike those bronzers I've seen from my childhood, this one doesn't have any shimmers, but you'll notice that there's a bit of frosting finish. The powder is very fine too, it's also smooth and easy to apply. Staying Power, 8-9 hours.
Overall Rating:  4/5

This Pink Mist Blush is the prettiest blush I have now. The color is just the right one to match my skin tone. It's not too reddish and not too pinkish too. It's very pigmented that with just a small amount will give you a very nice blush. No shimmering effect though. It stays a whole day on my cheeks without fading. I tried to wash my arm after this swatch with water but there was still some left. You'll definitely needed a make-up remover for this one. A very fine powder blush that's easy to apply on cheeks.
Overall Rating:      5/5

REVIEW | Oceanmist Cosmetics Mineral Eyeshadows

As you may know I am into eye shadows these days and I really don't have an idea why. I used to wear nude or natural eye make-up but now, I come to like colorful make-ups. While watching those youtube guru's I realized that mineral make ups especially the eye shadows are much better when it comes to pigmentation. I have tried numbers of mineral makeup brands and now, I'd like to introduce you Oceanmist Cosmetics
Ocean Mist Cosmetics is a family owned business that offers high quality, affordable mineral makeup and other cosmetics to our customers.  We believe in being personal as well as professional with our customers. Always feel free to contact us with any questions, concerns, or comments that you may have.
Oceanmist Cosmetics were kind enough to send me samples to try for review purposes. And this time, I will reviews first their mineral eyeshadows. :)

PRODUCT INFO:

PRICE: Full Size $6.95 - 1 tsp in a 10g sifter jar
Travel Size $3.80 - 1/2 tsp in a 5g sifter jar
Sample Size $1.35 - 1/8 tsp in a sample bag
WHERE to BUY: Oceanmist Cosmetics

Oceanmist Cosmetics sent me 7 shades of my choice, one in a full size and 6 on sample packs which probably contains 1/8tsp each. :) So I decided to buy cream jars for my convenience of using those eye shadows.

As you can see, there are still a lot left in those plastics so I might give out those. :)

♥ VERDICT: The eye shadows are very pigmented with or without eye primers. Although the names are quite weird, I'd say that they really fit the shades. I only have one matte and the rest are all shimmery, and my favorite shade is the Fairy dust. I really love the super shimmering effect of it, plus it really compliments the orange brownish color. Every eye shadow does not have any scent. Since they are loose type, fall outs is given but not that much. One swipe and it'll give you the color you'll truly love. LOL! The staying power is also good, it last the whole day even without retouching.

Overall Rating:    4/5

REVIEW | Virginia Olsen Short Shader & Sculpting Brush

I have this thought that makeup brushes are not that important when applying makeups. And to tell you honestly, I only have 7 brushes with me and most of them are still not used LOL. Not until I received this baby brushes from Virgina Olsen, these brushes were included on the loot they gave us for attending their 2013 Summer Collection Launch Event.  They gave us two of their 5 new brushes, the Short Shader & Sculpting brush, wanna know how these baby changes my opinion about having makeup brushes? continue reading then.

PRODUCT INFO:

BRAND: Virgina Olsen
NAME: Sculpting Brush & Short Shader brush
PRICE: Sculpting- Php450 ; Short Shader- Php300
WHERE to BUY: Virgina Olsen

THE VERDICT:

NOTE: This is my first time doing a brush review, so please bear with me if I miss some informations/details about these brushes and feel free to ask me by commenting below. ^o^

Sculpting Brush - I have this little secret that I'd like to confess when I first saw this brush on the event "What is the use of this Sculpting brush?" I was like, OMG! should I ask them this insane question? Haha! then the moment I got home I immediately researched on how and where to use this brush. "Ohh, so this is for contouring!" Anyway, this brush is freakin' SOFT! A high quality brush indeed, and definitely worth your Php450. Does not shed hairs even if you try to pull them out or even if you washed them twice or thrice a week. I don't usually contour but for the sake of this brush, I tried it and this sculpting brush gave me the precise contour effect.

Short Shader Brush - Most of my brushes are for eye makeups, but didn't used them often simple because my fingers are much friendlier. LOL. It has short and thin bristles that'll helps you use just the right amount of eye shadows without fall outs. And just like the sculpting brush it is also uber soft, soft and soft! I totally love it! I will soon post an EOTD using this brush. :)

Overall Rating:    5/5
A perfect 5 for these baby brushes!  It's really soft and 100% cruelty free! I might buy some of their brushes someday to add on my little brush collections!

What about you, what are your favorite brushes? :)
