REVIEW | Eyeliner Vintage Sticker

The perfect winged eyeliner, that’s the one that takes all of our time when doing our makeups, yes? It takes a lot of practice to master your dream cat-eyes look. But not this time when there is this product called eyeliner sticker. No more grip problems, though this Eyeliner sticker that I will be featuring has a small detail on it.

What I have here is a set of 4 of Eyeliner Sticker from Bornprettystore. The set includes two designs, an angel’s wing and a swirling something styles, two pairs each. 

Before I start saying the good qualities of this product, let me first point out that this Eyeliner Sticker doesn’t have any glue that comes with it (unlike the ones from Etude House). Yes, you can still use it despite of that, yet, expect that the tip part of this Eyeliner sticker might easily detach from the inner eyelids. Another problem is that, well, it does not stick to well on my lids, or maybe because my lids are just too oily? Anyway, I don’t recommend using it under eyeshadow, I swear, it won’t stick at all.

Also, the eyeliner stickers are plastic! Plus, there’s this transparent bleeding part that is so obvious to the eyes. It doesn’t look good at all. My eyes are small and these stickers just don’t exactly fit my eyes and that makes it really difficult for me to put on. Or maybe I just don’t know how to properly use it? ^^

Now, for the good side of this eyeliner sticker, the designs sure are pretty. I began to think that maybe I just chose the wrong design for me. It’s really perfect for a photoshoot and to add a little more dramatic effect on your makeup. However, using this kind of eyeliner sticker might take too much effort to apply it to the eyes properly – let’s leave it in the hands of the professionals.

Since you can only get it for as cheap as 3 dollars, then, don’t expect much from it. Now, I should have really chosen that design no. 5 instead of this. I know for sure that that design will probably work better on my eyes than this one. J

Holo Foils Splats on my Nails

I am no nail-art expert but I do like to give it a try every now and then. Bornprettystore sent me this Fantasy Starry Holo Nail Foils Glitter Transfer Sticker for review purposes. There are lots of designs to choose from that is really pretty.

The holo nail foil pattern that I chose has different colors. It makes a perfect splat effect on my nails. I was also surprised to see how big the foil was in one pack that it could last a month or two. The foil is glossy and really cool.

At first, I thought that it’s hard to use, but it’s really not. For your future reference, here’s a direction on how to use the holo nail foil.

1.     Apply nail base coat

2.     Apply your chosen nail polish color

3.     Wait until it’s dry but tacky

4.     Press on the foil and peel off

5.     Apply top coat (optional)

I really didn't expect that the outcome would be really good. Holo nail foild looks really nice with dark or light nail polish. As you can see, I tried it on dark violet and yellow and the paint splats effect sure is pretty. How many times did I say the word "pretty" on this post? LOL Forgive me for I am having some sort of writer’s block these past few days.

What I noticed is that it comes off easily when washed, so I suggest that you apply a top coat on your nails to make it last longer, and of course, more shiny.

Bornprettystore's Brow Combo Review

Who among you, are eyebrow freak? Well, this post might catch your interest. Brow Combo. Actually, this is a double product review and yes, these products aren't sold as set. As we all know, Bornprettystore has a wide variety of beauty, fashion, and any other products for women's. Today, I will share my recent product-review choice.

I entitled it as Brow Combo simply because they're both for eyebrows, obviously. Honestly, my brows are always my problem when applying makeup. I think you already know why. LOL

Alright. As much as I wanted to provide my own photo's of this product, I can't, because I misplaced these three brow shaping templates. Worst, is that I still haven’t taken any decent photo for review! So, I decided to grab some photos at Naver just to show you how these things work.

Yes, I know that you’re thinking that they are exactly like the one from Etude House because they really are - from the packaging up to the written Korean words on the stencil. I actually couldn’t say how they differ because I still haven’t tried the ones from EH myself. And so.. let’s all leave that behind and move on to my review. ^o^

These eyebrow stencil template set has three different eyebrow styles: one, the Korean-straight-eyebrow style, two, the arched style, and three, the fierce and pointed style. Please bear with my terms as I really don’t have an idea on how I should call them. They only stayed with me for a couple of weeks then gone away.

The stencils are unexpectedly bendable, which makes it really hard to use. Especially if you have a weak grip like mine, ‘cause your brow will end up being messy while using these stencils. Yes, the brow styles are perfect, but girl, it isn’t user friendly at all. And with that, I meant that I really had a difficulty using it. The fact that they soft and bends easily, it tends to adjust the spaces and your eyebrow will turn into a complete mess. I suggest using it as a pattern, using it as your brow outline, then putting it down and continue with your usual brow routine. That is way much better than using the stencils completely. Am I being redundant now? Forgive me, I can’t find the right words to explain it to you guys.

Hot-Sell Flattened Design Eyebrow Pencil Lovely Pink Dot Patterned

I must say that this eyebrow pencil is definitely good considering its cheap price tag. The packaging is really cute. It comes in a pink, sturdy plastic with a white polka dot design.  It is also retractable so you won't need to sharpen it every now and then. You really can't tell that this eyebrow pencil is only worth 2-dollars. Have you tried any product from Dolly Wink? Because it looks like it is a product of Dolly Wink. 

The eyebrow itself has a flat-rectangular shape, which is weird, but surprisingly convenient to use. By the way, I chose the lightest brown shade of this one. The pigment is really great and it really matches the color of my hair. I didn't expect that the flat-rectangular shape of this eyebrow can draw any style easily. 

It lasts a whole day too without fading and that is really nice, yes? Too bad that it doesn't come with a brush. Other than not having a brush, I don't have any cons for this product. :)

Bornprettystore's Set of Knuckle Rings

It is indeed fun to accessorize. Like I was saying a million times on my accessories posts – accessories could either make or ruin your outfit. When it comes to rings, I’m really not into it. I have these chubby fingers that rings can’t fit on. LOL Not until knuckle rings became popular. Those hardly fit rings that I have on stock long way before are now a knuckle rings. Haha! And Bornprettystore sent me a set of knuckle rings for review purposes. Cool, I know. J

Oops, I know what you’re thinking right now. You’re thinking that my fingers aren’t that chubby at all. Well, I hate to admit it, but those aren’t my fingers, but my cousins; remember the girl who modeled for my leggings? That’s her. I asked her again to be a hand model for my rings. It’s really hard when you’re the only person in the family that has enough patience, taking photos, I mean, good photos. I knew that if she’ll model for me, then my photos will look so much better and the opposite if I will take a photo of my hands myself. 

You can wear it separately or all together, but I prefer to wear it all at once like three rings on my right fingers then the other four on the left. They’re gold and the material doesn’t look cheap at all. The rings look really good and make my fingers look whiter. Pair it with a nice gold nail polish and you’ll totally rock it! The designs are all elegant and pretty, girly, if I may say. I just wish that they have bigger sizes.

The downside though is that the color fades very fast. I only used it for a week and I noticed that some of the rings were changing color. What’s also bad is that it leaves a ring-stain on my fingers that look like bruises.  And it looks really awful.

Bornprettystore sent me the largest size of this ring, 21mm, which is perfect for my chubby-granny-like fingers. I like to wear it on the middle part of my finger, to make them look longer. The ring is not that heavy nor lightweight. Have you ever experience wearing a ring that leaves a green-ish-blue-ish stain on your finger? If yes, then you don't have to worry about that with this ring. 

I took these photos early this week so you might found a little scratch on the ring but if you'll also notice that there weren't any fading of color either.

This is my first and coolest ear cuff! The design is unique and really cool. You will get one ear cuff on every order, so.. yeah, not as pair. I am not quite sure about this info but I think you can only wear it on the left ear. And since I have a pretty long ear, I have to wear it on my second ear pierce.

There's no fading issue with this one as well but if you have an allergy with low-class-material earrings then I don't recommend it to you. I experienced a slight itchiness after a couple of times wearing it. Thankfully, there wasn't any allergic reaction so I continued using it lol.

Double Layer Bling Rhinestone Heart Necklace Review

I've always been into necklaces since before but I don't know why sometimes I am not comfortable wearing one. Collecting necklaces are what I enjoy most since childhood; I have lots of them on my accessories cabinet. That moment when you have the feeling of getting it lost on your neck, or maybe the pendant will detach and will end up only having the chain and you'll go crazy on when or where did that go that you didn't noticed it? Oh well, that's what I always feel whenever I go out and planning to wear a necklace, I just can't take the risk losing them. On the other hand, I thought; "what will I do with these if I will not wear it?" What's the point of having it stocked? LOL, I really feel funny when the topic is about necklace.

The lock of the necklace is not so rigid and I think that with a small pulling force it'll broke.

 Born Pretty Store has a wide range of jewelries and this one catches my attention. The double pendant look so good together!

I was a little impressed on the back of the pendant, it look nice that you can even use it if ever you get tired of the design of the front. :)

I really like the idea of double layer necklace; I mean, you can get two different pendants in one. The heart pendant has a rhinestone around it and same with the other pendant that has one stone. Necklace chain is kind of thin for me, it looks like those from "bangketa", I don't mind though 'cause the pendant is what matters most for me and I can always change it if ever it get stained; but impressively, it looks nice on pictures. I just think that they should make the chain a little longer. 

So, here's a photo of mine wearing the necklace.. See what I'm talking about on how good it looks on photograph? It's very "sosyal" despite of its low-quality chain. The rhinestones are very reflective on lights and I think that what makes it more pretty. I like it so much as it can match your casual, formal and even party attire! It doesn't weigh at all. Very girly, lovely and adorable necklace indeed! :)

REVIEW | Colorful Charming Liquid Eyeliner

Did I tell you before that I am into color make-ups lately? I think I did, right? Anyway, Born Pretty Store gave me an opportunity to try two of their newest liquid eyeliners, they let me choose what colors I want and I came up with blue & green. To be honest, I'm not quite sure what the brand of this eyeliner but it must be Music Flower, never mind though. 

Having colorful eyeliners is such a very good idea, why? - Because it'll save you time as it will be your eyeliner and at the same time eyeshadow. Back in high school, I used to wear this kind of eyeliners; purple, blue and even yellow. Then suddenly I came tired of it and stick with black and now back with colorful again. Let's see if these liners will reach my expectations.

PACKAGING: The eyeliners come in a very simple matte plastic packaging. You can easily know what shade you are getting because the color of the tube is the same as its shade. Its handle is pretty long so you can really have a nice grip on it while applying and has a felt tip applicator. When I first tried it I noticed that the tip is so hard and pointed and it is not good at all, it's very stiff that it might hurt your eye while applying. Seriously, I almost got my left eye hurt. So what I did was continues stroke on the back of my hand until the tip became soft. Thankfully after that I don't have any problem applying it. 

 SWATCH: The blue one has a nice pigment compare to the green in which I have to re-apply it in order to build up the color. It also has a runny consistency which is way not good for a eyeliner, it's like they put a bunch of water in it. This eyeliner has a noticeable scent but bearable, I can't describe what it smells like but there is certainly is! 

 Is it smudge-proof? -Yes, it is. I did not expect it to be though. And no matter how harsh you'll rub it, it'll definitely stay as it is. 

Water-proof? Impressively, a yes also. It will stay put on your eyes even if it rains or you cry but remember not to rub it when wet because it will come off easily. :)

 VERDICT: These liquid eyeliners did a good job! They look good when worn and will really compliment your eyes. I have a natural dark brown eye color and whenever I wear these eyeliners it really emphasizes my eye color. You can either wear one color at a time or wear them together. If I'm going to pick one from the two, I will choose the blue, it's nice and vivid, very noticeable too! The green is okay too but I have to put on a number of layers in order to bring out the color. With these, it is fine not to apply an eyeshadow as it will pop your eyes already. 

I guess the makers of these eyeliners should improve the consistency and their applicator. Some might find it hard to apply with a very runny consistency and the hard, pointed applicator; they should make it softer to avoid hurting your eyes/skin.
