Review: It’s Skin Babyface Sense Brush Pen Eyeliner

Remember my previous eyebrow product from It’s Skin? If you do, then this eyeliner that I’m reviewing is from the same brand and the same line, It’s Skin Babyface line. I bought this together with my Missha Velvet Tints, which was two months ago, I guess? Anyway, I just opened and used this It’s Skin Babyface Sense Brush Pen Eyeliner a couple of weeks ago and I almost forgot that I have this eyeliner. (Read: Review: It's Skin Babyface Natural Eyebrow)

Soft and precise brush, that’s what impressed me. Seriously, this pen eyeliner has something special with its brush. The brush is very soft that you’ll actually feel it while lining your eyes! You can draw a very precise eye line with this pen eyeliner without having a hard time. Meaning to say that you can easily draw your most-practiced, time-consuming, and temper-riser, winged and cat eyeliner.

The color is really black and opaque. With one, two, or three layers of It’s Skin Babyface Sense Brush Pen Eyeliner, you can make either simple or dramatic eye look. There’s a tiny problem though – it bleeds. Every time that I’m using this eyeliner, there’s major eyeliner bleeding under my eyes. And it seems as if I cried! Especially when I wing and cat eye my eyeliner using this. So I always ended up with a very thin line, which is good for my school-makeup look.

It’s Skin Babyface Sense Brush Pen Eyeliner is water-resistant, but not smudge-proof. Be extra careful when wearing this eyeliner because if it happens that you forgot that you used it and you rubbed your eyes unexpectedly, then expect that you probably look like a panda with a black tint surrounding your eye! Ha-ha. That happened to me, you know? Other than that part, I really don’t have a problem with this liner. The longevity is 6-7 hours.

REVIEW | Lioele Lip Color Stick

I don't know the reason why I became this addicted to any lip products. Whenever I see a new colors, or even the same colors of my previous lipsticks with only different swatches, I can't help but buy it. This time, it is not something I bought but a review product from Beauteque. It's Lioele Lip Color Stick.

I'm sure that most of you are familiar with the brand, if not, then Lioele is a Korean makeup brand. I've been seeing this Lioele Lip Color Stick before and they're always on sale but still kind of hesitated to buy it. Yet, thanks to Beauteque that I'm able to try it! :)
If I am not mistaken, this is the improved packaging of Lioele Lip Color Stick. Before, the design is very simple and Lioele take it to the next level in terms of packaging by adding some cute-ness on it. You'll instantly notice that Lioele Lip Color Stick is like a jumbo crayons that kids use. There is a different characters that represents each shades.
Each colors are named and mine are:
02 Jessie - Orange
03 Candice - Pink
04 Rebecca - Red
Cool right?
There's no need to use a sharpener with this one because you only have to twist the lower part of the stick to adjust the product to the desired height of usage. It's pretty convenient that way but the twister is kinda loose so you better watch out for it whenever you're putting it in a tight place.
The texture is very creamy and soft. It's so easy to apply on the lips as it'll glides on your lips real smooth, literally! And because it has a pointed tip, it's easy to apply and have a full-lips especially when using Rebecca, the red one. Non-scented and very easy to use.

CandiceShe is sweet, girly and simply cute. This baby pink is a perfect shade for an every day look and great to be used as a blush as well! With a pink like this, you can't go wrong.

JessieShe is gentle, happy and has a sweet girl character. This perfect shade of peach is great for the warm seasons. A unique blend of orange and red for an irresistibly adorable look.

Rebecca She is fierce, bold and beautiful. If you are looking for the perfect red pout, look no further. With all the added benefits with such a bold color, you won't have to worry about creases or fine lines - all you have to do is rock it!

Lioele Lip Color Stick has a very good pigmentation. You won't need to apply a second coating because it'll give you the color you wanted. The finish is moist. The moisturizing property of Lioele Lip Color Stick sure is impressive; no need to apply a lip balm because it acts like one. I really love how this lip pencils are like lipsticks when I always assumed that maybe they're most likely a tint.

The only problem with Lioele Lip Color Stick is that it transfers easily. There was this time when my sister accidentally bump in to me and slightly touched my lips; and guess what? it leaved a full lipstick mark on her shirt! Haha! But this is where it gets tricky. Why? because my lips remained as red as rose. Oha! Although it's no more moist but matte this time. Impressive, I know. Now, I should say that the lasting power of Lioele Lip Color Stick is so very long! Approximately, 8-10 hours; by that time, it'll look more like a tint but with strong color, like you just re-applied it on your lips.

REVIEW | MUA Fabulous Everyday Star Cream

The answer is a big N-O. Just in case you will be asking if this “MUA” is the same the “MUA as in Make Up Academy”. I got confused at first too, but after researching, they really are two different brands. This MUA is made in Korea and the other MUA is from the UK. And if you ask me what might be the meaning of the Korean “MUA” then I’m sorry because I don’t have a clue what it is. LOL

I know that you are already familiar with this product since I did host a giveaway and MUA Star Cream is the prize. (Hi, winner! I hope you’re enjoying/enjoyed your own star cream) Anyhow, I got this Mua star cream last year and use it early this year. Of course, from my ever loving sponsor, Wishtrend; they sent this to me for review purposes.
MUA Fabulous Everyday Star Cream really is a cool name, yes? And it comes in this black tube with white writings and of course, a star. But unlike any normal skin care products places in a tube, MUA Star creams takes it to the next level by including a three metal ball rollers on the mouth of the tube that will act as the applicator of the cream. With those ball rollers, you can easily apply it onto your face in a star's motion. See photo above. The rollers make the cream cold when applied on the skin.
MUA Star cream is more of a gel than a cream to me, but it doesn’t have a runny consistency. It’s clear and has shimmers, seriously. Not shimmers like the ones you see in an eyeshadow, FYI. The shimmers are barely noticeable, so no need to worry. It has this sweet-floral scent and is really relaxing. No stickiness and absorbs pretty quick within a seconds.
See those shimmers? :)
What does it promise? MUA says that it’s an anti-wrinkle and whitening. Before I say anything about this cream’s effectiveness let me just say that I am still young, 20 years-old to be exact, and so I won’t say anything about its anti-wrinkle property. And if ever I’m still using it after 6-10 years, then I’ll be happy to give you an update. Hihihi ^^

How’s the whitening property? It didn’t work on me. BUT, (yes, I’d have to capitalize it) I like this product. Why? Because it moisturizes, and hydrates my skin really well. It makes my skin really smooth and soft that my BB cream will glide on really easy to my face. It can act as your primer too, because it will lessen the visibility of your pores and puffiness of the eyes as well.
Overall Experience:   ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ 4/5

Net Wt:  20g
Price:  USD19.99
Where to Buy:  Wishtrend (link to the product)

MUA Star Cream really is a good product to try. Although, the whitening property did not work to me, it doesn't mean that it won't work on you as well. We all have different skin conditions and if you have the budget, then try this! Who knows? This could be your HG product. ^^

Etude House Minnie Kissing Lips Review

Do you remember the previous limited collection of Etude House? Yes, the Xoxo Minnie collection is the one I am talking about! Now, I want to share a review of my own Etude House Minnie Kissing Lips in Bubble Pink. I don’t know why but the red one doesn’t have any appeal to me so I decided to buy only the pink one.

Xoxo Minnie Collection becomes really popular right after Etude House release its teaser photos. I really wanted to have the whole collection but you know.. wallet problems. LOL. I bought my Minnie kissing lips at Han Ryu, one of my favorite online k-shops. Anyway, shall we begin the review?

PRODUCT INFO:
Brand: Etude House
Name: Minnie Kissing Lips #2 bubble pink
Available in 2 shades: #1 minnie red &  #2 bubble pink
Net Wt: 3.5g
MADE in KOREA
Price: 9,000won | Approx. USD8.44
Where to Buy: Etude House | Han Ryu

VERDICT:
Since it is Etude House we are talking about, then the first thing that you’ll fall for is the packaging. A cute packaging collaborated with a cute character is perfect! Etude House + Minnie Mouse = I-can’t-resist-not-to-buy problem. The packaging of Minnie kissing lips lipstick is just too adorable. I am so much fond of polka dots and maybe that’s why I bought this one instead of the other that has a printed Minnie Mouse face on it. The combination of the colors is indeed cute; pink, black and white. Information’s of the product is written in Korean & English.

Let’s move on to the swatches of the lipstick.
The photo shows how pigmented Minnie kissing lips is and how it looks under natural light and with flash on. Well, what matters is how it looks like when applied on the lips.

There it is! It’s really pretty right? It came out as a very pretty pink on lips, not too dark and not too light. The finish is semi-glossy and leaves the lips really moisturized. I really like how it glides on smoothly on my lips that make it really easy to apply. There is also a mild sweet scent but barely noticeable. Its longevity is pretty decent as it stays on within 4-5 hours.  It settles on the lines on my lips perfectly too. Also, this lipstick looks really nice on photos and brightens your complexion. Unlike other pink lipsticks that I’ve tried that makes me look like I just got tanned. Perhaps, this’ll be one of my favorite pink lipsticks. Now, I am really regretting not buying the red Minnie. LOL I’ll buy it next time!

Banila Co Floral Waltz Color Change Tint Marigold Review

Hello loves! Christmas passed and now we are preparing for New Year. Time sure flies really fast, right? Banila Co Floral Waltz Color Change Tint Marigold is one of my gift to myself for Christmas. December really is the best month of the year because there's sale everywhere and this tint is one of them. I bought this from Kkochipida when she posted her new on-hand sale items. Shall we proceed to my review? =D

PRODUCT INFO:
Brand: Banila Co.
Name: Floral Waltz Color Change Tint in Marigold
Net Wt: 14g
Available in 4 shades: Calendula, Poppy Rose, Green Iris, & Marigold
MADE in KOREA
Price: 9500won | USD9.01
Sale Price: Php285.00 from Kkochipida

VERDICT:
The packaging of Banila co floral waltz collection sure are pretty. Its a combination of hearts and diamonds in pink and blue-green color that'll catch every girls eyes. Sometimes, we girls, have this impulsive buys only because of packaging, and I admit that I was guilty on this one. But I do not regret buying this tint.

The tint comes in a small squeeze-type tube. Expiration date is embossed on the top of the tube and the rest was written in Korean.

The swatches above shows how the tint became pink from yellow. You do not have to worry about having a yellow lips because it'll definitely change its color right after you applied it on your lips. Among the tints I own, this one is quite sticky but not lipgloss-sticky-type. Also has a mild sweet-floral scent which is barely noticeable.

And this is how it looks like on lips. A natural baby pink lips when you applied a layer of Banila co color change tint and a pretty pink-er when you applied two layers. If you want to have a more pink-ish color, apply more layer. The staying power is good, it last for about 5-6 hours but expect no glossy-ness just a tint left on your lips but moisturized still.

Color:   ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ 5/5
Longevity:    ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ 5/5
Moisturizing Properties:    ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ 5/5

Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lipliner Review

Dark, dry and chapped are my lips major problems and because of that the lipsticks that I wear gives a different color on my lips. That is why I finally decided to try lip liners and my first one is from my favorite Korean brand, Etude House, it is the Soft Touch Auto Lipliner.

Etude House Color Pop Drawing Show Creamy Pencil Set Review

Note: This product was sent to my by Cosmetic-love for review purposes. I am not paid by Etude House or any company to write this review, nevertheless, the content of this post is based on my honest opinion and experience.

Colorful + Fun + Trendy = Color Pop! That is how Etude House described this Color Pop Drawing Show Creamy Pencil Set. You know how I am into color makeup today, right? Having this set with me is such a very nice gift. One of my most "can't leave without" is eyeliner, they give definition and emphasize on my chinita eyes. Color Pop Creamy Pencil Set can act as your eyeliner and at the same time as eyeshadow.

Review | Etude House Bling In the Sea Proof 10 Bling Eye Stick OR201

Every make-up Princesses know how good and pretty products Etude House has. Just who can resist such girly, princess-y, pink and affordable makeups, right? Bling in the Sea is one of the newest make-up line of Etude House and if I was not mistaken, the theme was about freshness for the summer.

I was one of the lucky one who were able to receive the Etude House Bling in the Sea Proof 10 Bling Eye Stick inside the loot bag from Etude House's previous annual event, Princess Academy. Now, let me share with you my experience with this eyeshadow stick from Etude House's Bling in the sea line.

PRODUCT INFO:

Brand: Etude House
Name: Bling in the Sea Proof 10 Bling Eye Stick OR201
Net Wt: 1.3g
Price: Around Php300-400+
Available in 5 shades
Made in Korea
Where to Buy: In all Etude House's Botiques & Department Stores

Okay, Etude House has once again won over their cutest packaging ever! Each bling stick comes in a plae blue tube with silver, bling-y writing. The design is a sparkles around the upper part of the tube, and just like their Bling Bling Eye Stick, the old and plain version of this Bling stick, it is also a twist up type. Also, each stick has this sticker on the top of the lid which is obviously, the shade indicator. Manufactured date, check!

My first impression after opening this was "Uh oh~ how am I gonna use this one? Should I just give it away?". Why did i said that? because they're almost made out of shimmers that it lacks of creaminess in it, that it is too light to be used as an eyeshadow and barely visible. And here's this stupid little question of mine, I thought, it's pink, then why is it white? LOL but of course that question was immediately answered after I swatched it. :)

The first photo was taken under natural lighting, but since the color isn't showing, I tried to took another photo with flash, refer to the second photo. From left to right, it was swatched thicker.

As you can see, the color is not that opaque, so using them as eyeshadow alone won't be a good idea. I tried to use it as highlighter but also didn't work because the shimmers are too obvious. What about as eyeliners just like what the advertisement says? I don't think so, the stick is too thick and you might end up applying too much product on your eyes though you can use it to highlight the inner eye corner.

If that's the case, what am I gonna do with my Bling stick?
The answer is very simple, Play Etude!

Here's what I did:

I layered my bling stick on top of my black eyeliner and see how pretty and glam my eyeliner looks? Though the effect is somewhat pink-ish than coral, it's still pretty. Or if you have a favorite matte eyeshadow and wanted to play with it, use your bling stick as your eyeshadow base to give your matte shadows sparkles. It stays on the whole day but you will notice a slight fading. You can actually do more with this bling stick, with your blush and lipstick!

Overall Experience: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ 3/5

Any other tips to play with this Bling stick? Share 'em down! ^o^
