Beautify your Makeup Brushes

Do you have individual brushes that look like they just came home from a war? Or those brushes that will very much passes as an ancient one? But then again, they happened to be your favorite brushes! Yeah, I know the feeling. You just can’t throw them away so you keep on using them even though you have no idea what to do with its close-to-disgusting brush handle. Well, I got an idea for that problem! From simple and boring brush handles, why don’t we beautify our makeup brushes with a nail polish? Sounds like a good idea, yes?

I had this idea when I read an article about customizing things. That blog has such great ideas about personalizing! What really interests me was when she painted her cellphone charger with a nail polish. That was brilliant! Then I realized – why not try it to paint my makeup brushes? Hmm..
All you need to beautify your makeup brushes are nail polishes. It is up to you what kind of nail polish you’d use; either it’s matte, glossy, or in my case, with glitters. You can be as creative as possible! Use your nail art materials if you wish to add a little art on your brushes. Beautifying your makeup brushes doesn’t really need instructions; paint it the way you like it!

If you are wondering what brush is best to use; individual brushes are your best choice. Why? Well, because if you’ll paint all your individual brushes with the same designs & color, then it will look like that it is a brush set instead of individual ones. Just like these brushes that I used. I bought them from different stores and brands – Marrionnaud, Landmark brush, & Kokoro.

Aren't they lovely?
 Now, I will most likely paint my other brushes to join the club too! Hmm.. why not paint my brush holder as well? Haha!

Purple Pastel Makeup Tutorial

Hello loves!
It's been raining hard since yesterday, and because of the cold weather I was able to do a... I could say a decent makeup tutorial. The theme is, Pastel Purple. Did I mentioned before that I am into purples these couple of weeks? :)

What I really want to share is a look that can be worn everyday at school or at work. I was really planning to make it as simple as possible but my hands just did not listened to me >.< lol. This makeup look is quite simple yet with a touch of strong-ness. You know dark eyeshadows with thick eyeliners, something like that.. And without further ado, here's the Pastel Purple Makeup Tutorial.

It's easy right? I think you can do with in less then 15 minutes! ^^ Wanna see the final look? :)

Sweet & natural look is the best to wear every Valentine to give a fresh and baby impression to your love ones. When we hear sweet look, what color comes in your mind first? Yes~ pink! the more pinkish your makeup looks, the sweeter & baby effect it gives. Am I right? So here's my own Valentine's day look and let's start with my eye make-up...

What I did was;
1. Draw your desired style on your eyebrows
2. Put a gold eyeshadow all over my eyelids and extended it on the half of my bottom part-eye.
3. I used a pink eyeshadow on my outer corner of my eye and connect it on the half of my bottom part-eye.
4. Draw a straight line on my eyelids using a brown gel liner & do the same on the bottom eye part.
5. Put mascara~

And for the lips;

1. Prime your lips with lipbalm, to be moisturize
2. Use any pink lipstick and apply it using a lip brush
3. Apply pink or clear lipgloss for a plump & kissable lips

Final look:

Remember to match your look with a lovely hairstyle, okay? As you can see, I did curl my hair and braided my bangs for a innocent look. It's simple yet sweet make-up look from me and I hope you'll try it for yourself .

Halloween Makeup Collaboration (Scary Doll Theme) :

Hi dollies~!! remember my previous post (HERE) about our halloween makeup collaboration? It's fun right? =D and now I am excited to post our second theme, the Scary Doll inspired look. This theme is actually my most awaited one, because I have my wigs ready for this LOL and I had seen so many pics of this makeup look that is why after knowing that Scary doll is one of our theme I just scream out of excitement >.< hahaha

And this is my Scary Doll look :D

 What'ya think? hahahaha I did not put too much details on this one actually, all i did was make my skin looks paler, draw a longer bottom lashes, draw a line from the corner of my mouth and add stitches to it and draw a nose line to make it look like a ventriloquist doll.

As I mentioned on my previous post about our first makeup theme, this is my first time doing this kind of makeup so I am a amateur in this kind of thing, hehehe. But I guess the outcome was good for a newbie right? ^o^

This is our second theme, the scary doll look so there are 2 more looks to go and I am really excited to it >.< I feel like joining this collaboration was not a mistake but a great opportunity for me to enhance my makeup skills.

You might wanna check out the work of my lovely collaborators.. ♥
