My Daily Makeup Routine

 When you do something repeatedly, you become really used to it that you can do it even with your eyes closed – just like my daily makeup look. Going to school everyday made me do my makeup for as fast as 5-7 minutes. That is if I can perfectly do my brows. My makeup routine is pretty simple. I always try to sport the no-makeup makeup, but there is also a time when I want to be bolder by wearing a really dark lipstick shade. Both look are actually the same, they only differ on what color of lipstick I am going to use.

I always start with a clean canvas. A clean face will result to a great base finish. I also make sure that my face is well moisturized and that I use a sunscreen before my BB Cream or foundation. This brush from Virginia Olsen is really nice and easy to use to apply my base. It is soft and dense.

Since I have quite a dry skin, I usually skip the setting powder. When I’m not skipping it, I always rely on my Krave Oil Eliminator – this powder keeps the oiliness of my T-zone.

My eye makeup is really simple. Just a subtle touch of brown eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, a mascara and I’m done! I usually play with my eyeliner; sometimes I don’t wing it, and most of the time, I do. Because a winged eyeliner is love. Oh! Of course, I can’t leave the house without doing my brows too. This is the part that took me the longest time second to tight lining of my eyes.

As I said earlier, it is either a pink lipstick or a really bold one. I want my lipstick matte too. When I wear pink lipstick, you’ll see me with a blush on. And if I wear a bold/dark lipstick, I always skip the blush part because I want all the attention on my lips. ^^

Makeup Collab | Summer Date Look

Hello gorgeous! It's been  a while since my last post and now I will leave you with another makeup look that you'l surely love to wear this summer especially if it happens that you have a date. 

Yes, it is another makeup collab but this time with my first Indian friend, Awungshi of Dr Poison Ivy's beauty blog. We've been friends since February and began talking and chatting on Kakaotalk since then. ^o^ We actually had a makeup swap last month and now, I am only waiting for my package to arrive and I will definitely share it with you guys. :) Anyway, back to my Summer Date Look, here's what I did.

                                         

I really intended to do the sweet look but ended up with sweet yet fierce look instead. I don't know why my hands suddenly created that winged red eye shadow while I actually planned to use it to deepened my eye. Still, I guess I made a good job.

FOTD | Pink & Purple

There's always a time when I am really bored, and just like any other make-up junkies out there I also tends to play with my make-up when that boredomness strikes and ended up with this Pink & purple fotd. 

This look is very simple and yet will make you feel the spring or summer. LOL 

I hope that you'll like this Pink & Purple look made by yours truly. :)

FOTD + Review: The Face Shop Lovely me:ex Petit Angle Blusher 02 Blooming Love

Hi ladies~ today I'm gonna post a review of my current blusher which I got a last month from Seoul Catch. The Face Shop had a big sale last Christmas so I have to take advantage to it and bought some of their new products. And now my current blusher is The Face Shop Lovely me:ex Petit Angle Blusher.

I've been eyeing on this Lovely me:ex Petit Angle Blusher for a long time but hesitated to buy because I still have a lot of my Etude House Marble Marble blusher left. But when The Face Shop announced the sale then I didn't have a second thought of ordering.

Comes in a simple plastic yet attractive packaging. The Aifel tower design did the trick plus the hearts and ribbons. And the blusher itself is really pretty with 4 different colors; pink, peach and light pink.

Here is a swatch of the Lovely me: Ex petit angle blusher on the back of my hand and on my finger. You can see that it gives a baby pink color and a velvety finish.

The Verdict:

Well, this Petit Angle Blusher is really getting into me. I am loving it because of the healthy blush it gave on my cheeks, just the right pinkish effect and very natural. At first I thought that it might be very shimmering just like the Etude House Marble Marble blusher, but this one is different it gives a sweet pick-me-up subtle color with a soft touch of shimmer which I really love. Plus I also uses this as eye shadow for my everyday look and can be used as highlighter too, so what more will you look for? Its definitely a good deal although it's a bit expensive here in Philippines I guess this is worth the buy.

I really recommend this product, and I might try the two other shades of this *wink*. So before I finish this post, I will leave you my FOTD using the The face shop Lovely me: Ex Petit Angle Blusher 02 Blooming Love.

Valentine's Day Make-up Collaboration

Have a date this Valentine's day and having problems on what make-up you should wear? then worry no more~ me and my BBU friends decided to do another make-up collaboration Valentine Edition. Jannie, Eyah, Michelle, Joyce, Denzylle and yours truly is here to give you some make-up ideas to wear on your date *wink* Just click their names to see their own version of VDay look. :)

Sweet & natural look is the best to wear every Valentine to give a fresh and baby impression to your love ones. When we hear sweet look, what color comes in your mind first? Yes~ pink! the more pinkish your makeup looks, the sweeter & baby effect it gives. Am I right? So here's my own Valentine's day look and let's start with my eye make-up...

What I did was;
1. Draw your desired style on your eyebrows
2. Put a gold eyeshadow all over my eyelids and extended it on the half of my bottom part-eye.
3. I used a pink eyeshadow on my outer corner of my eye and connect it on the half of my bottom part-eye.
4. Draw a straight line on my eyelids using a brown gel liner & do the same on the bottom eye part.
5. Put mascara~

And for the lips;

1. Prime your lips with lipbalm, to be moisturize
2. Use any pink lipstick and apply it using a lip brush
3. Apply pink or clear lipgloss for a plump & kissable lips


Final look:

Remember to match your look with a lovely hairstyle, okay? As you can see, I did curl my hair and braided my bangs for a innocent look. It's simple yet sweet make-up look from me and I hope you'll try it for yourself .

FOTD: Chinese New Year Look

Happy Chinese New year my dear ones~!! There are lots of fireworks everywhere, are you enjoying the moment? (^o^) I actually planned to post this fotd earlier today but me and my family decided to go out and have dinner together to celebrate new year. 

I am quite sure that some of you have a night out tonight, right right? ^^ So, I will show you my New year look just in case you are wondering what make-up you're gonna wear tonight. *wink. Let's start with my eye make-up:

Kindly excuse my not-so-skilled eye make-up, I'm still learning LOL. 

Anyway, when you hear chinesse what comes in your mind? Straight & winged eyeliner am I right? And as you can see I mixed the gold and navy blue eyeshadow to match up my winged liner and baby blue shadow on my lower eye just to emphasize my eyes and make it look bigger. :) 

You noticed? no mascara? Hahahaha why? to make it a little natural look.

Of course to complete my look, I paired it with a lip tint from Tony Moly.

Review: Tony Moly Cat Chu Wink Crazy Tint Stick 02 Yellow + FOTD

Are you a Tony Moly lover? if yes, then you might be interested by this product. This is my second item from Cat's Wink line, and also my second tint from TM. I received this a couple of days ago or if you are a follower of mine on instagram then I guess you already seen this one. (IG: berrycreamie)

This was sent to my be Joy Kim, a reporter of BNTNews Korea for review purposes. Joy emailed me on the first day of 2013, so I am really overwhelmed and blessed to have a new sponsor just when the year started. Here is a small introduction about their company:

The box is really simple yet attractive, with the combination of black&orange it comes off perfectly plus the image of a very cute cat on the front makes it more cuter. It's really a good thing that the ingredients is in english and you can see that there is a Paraben in this product. 

I am very lucky to received this shade, I bet you know how much I love yellow ne? ^^ although I prefer it to be yellow all around. LOL It is still pretty. You might notice this too, Tony Moly does their packaging simple yet cool am I right? hahaha 

They focused on the cap and made it the black cat's lair. LOL.  

Swatches:

According to Tony Moly's How to use: Use it with lip brush but I don't think that a good idea why? because it is only a lip tint and more of a lipbalm for me so why use a lip brush right? Plus the tip of the stick itself is already pointed so even if you will use it on the outline of your lips it'll do the job perfectly. It is not a lipstick to begin with, yes? And if you thought that it might be the yellow tint when applied on your lips then worry not for this is a very light or should I say clear color just like lipbalms. 

The Verdict:

This kind of tints are becoming popular in SK lately but here in PH we already have this kind of tint but we called it Magic Lipstick. Anyway, I like this tint it does a very good job moiturizing my lips. Easy to apply and not oily at all so if you are using petroleum jelly as your lip moisturizer then I guess you should try this one. Smells like orange candy and not overwhelming, it won't hurt your nose. The more swipes you apply the more pink your lips will be but not like the effect of lipsticks huh. It is also long lasting, it will last the whole day so your lips will be moisturized the whole day. However, if you have a chapped lips be sure that you exfoliate/scrub your lips first before applying because it wont be as helpful as lipbalms.
