Review: Beauty Lenses Magnetic Enchant Brown

Happy love week my dearies ~ Today I'm gonna do a review of my new contact lens for the first time. Last year, Kpoptown contacted me and told me if I want to join their ongoing contest for they will choose 20 reviewers for their newly opened shop named Beauty Lenses.

Without hesitation, I entered by simply sending them my blog information together with my shipping info too. The contest was supposed to end last Jan.31 but because of some delay with the shipping process of the items, they extended it (I guess. coz there's no official announcement yet) I just received mine a couple of days ago and posted it on my IG. Why only now? Because I have some difficulties ordering from their website. They told us to order our chosen lenses on their website and choose western union as payment yet when I was ordering and about to check-out, there was no western union option there. That was December last year, yes it took them too much time to resolve the problem. They also kept telling me to choose the Bank wire option but I also kept telling them too that Paypal is the only payment option on their site.

Argh! My intro is getting longer LOL despite of that I don't really mind the delay-ness because on the first place, I am not a real customer and They will provide free lenses for me so what's the reason for being so demanding right? Hahahaha

Anyway, let's start on my review~~

The packaging itself is very detailed. You can almost see all the information you'll need to know about the lenses on the packaging. Its also very cute that it comes with a pink box with the logo of beauty lenses on it and matching the container of the lens. 

I hope you'll bear with my photos, its my first time doing a contact lens review. I tried my best to take a good shot to see the design of my lenses. I did own many contact lenses before but didn't have the chance to write a review of them. Good thing beauty lenses sent me a lens case too (my old one was broken).

The Verdict:

I asked my sister to do the modeling for this review ^o^

Enlargement:      5/5

The enlargement effect really is great. You can see the before and after photo above and you'll really notice the difference. With the diameter of 14.5mm, it gave the big and ulzang eyes. And because of that, I gave it a perfect 5points ♥

Color & Design:     4/5

A very simple design indeed! I actually prefer the natural style of lenses, you know~ just to add drama on my eye makeups and this one is perfect. Although I didn't expect the color would be this dark when worn and barely noticeable. But I still love the brown/gold color of it and how it blends on my eye.

Comfort:     4/5

Easy to wear and very comfortable when worn because of 38%-42% water content. 

Overall Rating:     4/5
Really love this lens, if you're one of those who love simple designs lenses then I recommend this ~ From the packaging to its color, I love it to bits!! ♥

Review: Tony Moly Tomatox Magic White Massage Pack

Hello my dearies~ time sure flies fast that it seems like yesterday we are celebrating New year and now Valentine's day is just around the corner. We all want to look good in front of our love ones right? with whiter and flawless skin if possible. Agree? 

And here I present Tony Moly Tomatox Whitening Pack which was given to me by Joy Kim of BNTNews together with few products from the same brand. This product will give you an instant whitening effect to impress your special someone *wink*

HOW TO USE:

After cleansing, apply on towel-dried face and gently massage for about 1~2min. After massaging, leave it on your face for 5~10min. Rinse out with lukewarm water and pat with towel. 2~3times use per week or use everyday as needed. 

The packaging really comes in a Tomato inspired container with plastic cap on the inside and one transparent scoop. I actually have this before when Tony Moly opens their store in SM Manila and didn't buy again after that. You know, I want to try other mask pack too and then luckily this was sent to me for review purposes. Good thing that I still did not post a review of my previous Tomatox mask before. kkkk~

Anyway, the packaging is really bulky so it is not travel friendly. 

Texture & Color

I made a gif for you to see the consistency of the product. And as you notice it's somewhat watery compared to my previous Tomatox massage pack which was super creamy. The consistency is not that thick anymore however despite of the wateriness it became really easy so spread. There are also some tiny exfoliating beads in it which  I love ~

The Verdict

As I mentioned earlier I already tried tomatox magic white massage pack before so it's really easy for me to do this review. The whitening effect is actually not permanent although it will lighten up your skin little by little with continues usage. After I emptied my first jar I noticed that my skin became whiter by atleast I think 2 tones and that was quite good and that makes it my favorite mask pack

What I also like about this is that the brightening effect last the whole day so even without putting any bb cream or foundation on ,your skin will still look whiter & radiant. And I suggest to use it everyday to achieve your dream white skin. My skin also feels nourished because of the calming and soothing effect of the tomato. No irritation or any allergic reaction on my face. However, if you were thinking if it smells like tomato then it's not it actually smells like somewhat floral with fruity scent. Definitely not tomato, LOL.

With a very cute tomato packaging it is such a waste if you'll just throw it away right? So, after I emptied my first container I realized to make it my accessories container and cleaned it up. :)

Review: Tony Moly Kiss kiss Lovely Lip patch

Hello my dearies~~ You might notice that recently I was reviewing skincare products, yes? That's because I really am focusing on my skincare. I have too much make-up on my kit and realized that my skincare products are not that complete. You know it is better to have a natural beautiful skin even without make-up on right?

DESCRIPTION:

Lips are very easy to be dry due to its thin skin layer. Especially in the fall/winter, lipstick applied on dry lips brings out chapped, wrinkly lips, and looks unclean. On the opposite side, moisturized lips give clean look and voluminous, healthy looking lips when wearing lip makeup. Kiss Kiss Lovely Lip Patch is a lip shaped hydro gel patch that will give you moisturized, tight lips. 

HOW TO USE:

After washing, dry lips and apply the patch on lips. Take off after leaving on for 20~30 minutes, then lightly tap for better absorption. * When taking the patch, carefully grab the round part, not the edges.  

 

This patch comes with a super cute packaging. The yellow chick did a very good job attracting me, she really caught my attention. Anyway, the lip patch itself is colored transparent pink. I haven't tried any lip patch before so I really can't compare it to other brands.

The Verdict:

Okay, as I mentioned earlier I haven't tried lip patch from any other brand and that obviously mean that this was my first time using one. And all I can say is... this lip patch is not helpful at all. Why? simply because its effect is just like when you wet your lips. You can see on my before photo that it was really dry and there was no improvement on the after photo. It just looked soft and moisturized on photo but its really not, it was just because of the water from the patch. The smell was like those jelly toy that we used to play when we were kids, those that has a jelly human parts in it. LOL. 

If you still want to try it then go~ It might work on you! Although it does not work on me.

Review: Tony Moly Cat Chu Wink Crazy Tint Stick 02 Yellow + FOTD

Are you a Tony Moly lover? if yes, then you might be interested by this product. This is my second item from Cat's Wink line, and also my second tint from TM. I received this a couple of days ago or if you are a follower of mine on instagram then I guess you already seen this one. (IG: berrycreamie)

This was sent to my be Joy Kim, a reporter of BNTNews Korea for review purposes. Joy emailed me on the first day of 2013, so I am really overwhelmed and blessed to have a new sponsor just when the year started. Here is a small introduction about their company:

The box is really simple yet attractive, with the combination of black&orange it comes off perfectly plus the image of a very cute cat on the front makes it more cuter. It's really a good thing that the ingredients is in english and you can see that there is a Paraben in this product. 

I am very lucky to received this shade, I bet you know how much I love yellow ne? ^^ although I prefer it to be yellow all around. LOL It is still pretty. You might notice this too, Tony Moly does their packaging simple yet cool am I right? hahaha 

They focused on the cap and made it the black cat's lair. LOL.  

Swatches:

According to Tony Moly's How to use: Use it with lip brush but I don't think that a good idea why? because it is only a lip tint and more of a lipbalm for me so why use a lip brush right? Plus the tip of the stick itself is already pointed so even if you will use it on the outline of your lips it'll do the job perfectly. It is not a lipstick to begin with, yes? And if you thought that it might be the yellow tint when applied on your lips then worry not for this is a very light or should I say clear color just like lipbalms. 

The Verdict:

This kind of tints are becoming popular in SK lately but here in PH we already have this kind of tint but we called it Magic Lipstick. Anyway, I like this tint it does a very good job moiturizing my lips. Easy to apply and not oily at all so if you are using petroleum jelly as your lip moisturizer then I guess you should try this one. Smells like orange candy and not overwhelming, it won't hurt your nose. The more swipes you apply the more pink your lips will be but not like the effect of lipsticks huh. It is also long lasting, it will last the whole day so your lips will be moisturized the whole day. However, if you have a chapped lips be sure that you exfoliate/scrub your lips first before applying because it wont be as helpful as lipbalms.
