REVIEW | Faceflux Multi Lip & Cheek Tint

If there is one thing I couldn't live without, it would be a lip tint. I don’t know why, but I sure am fond of anything tint-type. Faceflux Lip and Cheek tint is a new name to me, but since it is a Korean-product, I didn’t hesitate to try it when Hayan Korea offered it to me. This product isn't the same brand or under Hayan Korea, they are just the one who will be distributing it here in the Philippines. 

Faceflux Lip and Cheek tint comes in a plastic tube packaging with applicator. The design is very simple considering that it is a Korean-Cosmetic product, it looks cheap too, but I don't really mind. It's a good thing that the box has all the information's we needed to know about the tint.

Faceflux lip and cheek tint is available in two shades: Pink Cherry and Pink Red. What I have here with me is Pink Cherry. Let me show you how this shade looks like.

Honestly, this shade is more like an orange with a red undertone than Pink Cherry. I tried my best to capture the closest color of this tint and this is by far the best I could get. This tint has soft, light-weight, gel-like and runny consistency, it also smells sweet. Faceflux lip and cheek tint is very pigmented and the color payoff is just great. It is easy to apply on lips and stays on for about 4-5 hours. And since this is a tint-type, don't expect that this would be moisturizing on your lips.

Though it sure is nice as a lip tint, I don't quite agree to use it on cheeks. Because 1) It's very pigmented and you might have a difficulty to blend and control the color 2) The consistency is not friendly and can't be trusted as blusher and 3) It dries up really quick and leaves a blotch on your cheeks. 

Bottom line: Faceflux L&C is a very nice lip tint, but not as a blusher.

REVIEW | Ever Bilena Matte Lipsticks

It's been a week of no-blog-post right? Did you miss me? LOL! I've been very busy reading novels this past few weeks. You know how reading distracts my blogger life, ne? But anyway, here's a new review of my Ever Bilena Matte Lippies, which I won from EB's previous contest. There were 12 of these but now, only 7 left in me which is quite enough for my own use. 

I gave some to my kikay relatives since not all the shades are my liking. This review is way long overdue, but I don't know why I kept on forgetting this one. haha! So, here are the remaining shades that was left for me.

These matte lipsticks comes in a simple black and silver packaging with a lip gloss found on the upper part of the cap. What's that for? well, if you don't want a matte effect, then you can always use those glosses to have the glossy effect instead. :) Honestly, these are my first matte lippies, yes! my first (latebloomer, eh?) I just have this feeling that matte is not for my lips coz my lips tends to be really dry. But thanks to these babies I am able to realize that I can also wear matte's. 

♡ VERDICT: This EB Matte Lipstick is worth your Php155. They are very pigmented and has a pretty matte finish. I am also impressed on its staying power which last for 4-5 hours without retouching or even if you ate something, the full color will fade but still you'll notice that there is a hint of the shade on your lips. Not-drying but rather moisturizing, this matte lipstick. I'd really love to show you how it looks on my lips but,  I should say that, I don't have time? No! truthfully, I am too lazy to do so. LOL

This matte babies are a steal! For only Php155, you'll get a nice product and its available in many shades that will suit your taste and its in Watson's nationwide!

Lip balms plays an important role when wearing our make-ups, specially when we want to wear lipstick but are suffering from chapped lips, lip balms are there to rescue our poor lips. The packaging is quite simple to me, the container is pink and that makes it more girly but what really makes it special is that, it has an alarm installed in the product. The balm itself is like a jelly, I mean it's really fluffy when I touched it. It's almost as if your fingers will bounce when you touched the balm. LOL

This is what I am talking about earlier that this lip balm could be your protection in handy. 

With this  TONY MOLY Help me Lip Balm you can walk safely during night time or whenever you are alone.

See what I have been talking about? eh, eh? Haha! I think any bad guys will have a tantrum after hearing this siren. LOL 

There is one problem about this lip balm, the BATTERY! What if the battery runs out? How and where should I change it? The answer is; I do not know. Haha I'm very sorry but I tried my best to research about this matter. It's been my question the moment I got this lip balm, i tried to separate the balm from the packaging but it doesn't work, it was securely glued. :(( Maybe I will ask few people about this and will update you if I got any reliable answers! :D

SWATCHES:

TONY MOLY Help me Lip Balm has this soft pink tint when applied on lips. Compared to the #1 shade of this that has transparent color. The pink color depends on how many layers of lip balm you will apply. So the thicker the pinker. Haha! You can really wear this balm alone which is really perfect for your every day look. I'm loving it second to my Tony Moly Cat Chu Wink Crazy Tint Stick #02 which happens to be from BntNews too. :)

I really wanted to post an FOTD wearing this but I am just too lazy because of the hot weather >.<

THE GOOD:

• Could give protection to the owner (Siren Lip balm)

• Pretty pigmented

• Gives a lovely pink lips color

• Moisturizes lips

• Helps your lips less dry

• Makes your lips softer

• Non-greasy

• Decent staying power

• Can make your lipstick last longer

• Can also use as key chain when empty

THE BAD:

• When you accidentally pull out the pin and you're in the middle of class, meeting, office or any places that requires silence. LOL

• Currently not yet available in the Philippines

• I don't know how to change the battery, or even where it is locate inside the lip balm

This is the smartest lip balm I know today and I think that having this TONY MOLY Help me Lip Balm is a good idea. So you should grab one of this too! It's for your protection, anyway! :)

DOUBLE REVIEW | Etude House Juicy POP Tube & Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss

To be honest I am not a lip gloss fan (yeah right, I have so many things I don't like), I hate the feeling of your hair being stucked on your glossy-slash-pretty yet sticky lips. But of course not when I'm having a photoshoot of myself for reviews, FOTD's, make-up collaborations or just for fun whenever I had nothing to do. I still consider buying those sticky lip glosses for some unknown reasons haha!

Anyway, what I have now is the Etude House Juicy POP Tube & Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss. I bought the Juicy Pop Tube last week and the Beauty Rush Lip Gloss from my aunt, and I think that that was enough time to write a review about 'em. Let's start~!!

Nothing unusual about their packaging, they both came in a plastic tubes and only differs in cap, and VS lipgloss has an ingredients list on the back which EH doesn't have. :) Their packaging is just like the typical lip gloss, and of course EH won in cuteness but VS for sexiness ^^ Agree? Hehe.

THE VERDICT:

As you can see the EH seems to be a little watery in consistency, it easily leaked out from its tube with just a slightly pink on it and I don't really like that. It also has a sweet+strawberry scent.

The VS Beauty Rush lip gloss is very thick in consistency, you really don't have to worry if it'll pinned down on your make-up kit 'cause after you opened it the gloss stays put PLUS point for that!  Scent? it smells plain sweet. :)

VS Beauty Rush in Action:

 VS has a shimmer effect glossy and fab finish although it has a transparent color I think that it is perfect on top of your favorite matte lipstick (just in case you want to add glossiness and shimmer on it). Nude frosty  lips!

EH Juicy POP Tube in Action:

Well this one has a tint/gloss effect, not too pigmented but just enough to add color on your lips. It also has a glassy finish, I suggest to use it on top of any of your nude lipstick if you want to experiment on your lip color. You can also use the other shades of it to match your chosen lipstick.

Review: Tony Moly Kiss kiss Lovely Lip patch

Hello my dearies~~ You might notice that recently I was reviewing skincare products, yes? That's because I really am focusing on my skincare. I have too much make-up on my kit and realized that my skincare products are not that complete. You know it is better to have a natural beautiful skin even without make-up on right?

DESCRIPTION:

Lips are very easy to be dry due to its thin skin layer. Especially in the fall/winter, lipstick applied on dry lips brings out chapped, wrinkly lips, and looks unclean. On the opposite side, moisturized lips give clean look and voluminous, healthy looking lips when wearing lip makeup. Kiss Kiss Lovely Lip Patch is a lip shaped hydro gel patch that will give you moisturized, tight lips. 

HOW TO USE:

After washing, dry lips and apply the patch on lips. Take off after leaving on for 20~30 minutes, then lightly tap for better absorption. * When taking the patch, carefully grab the round part, not the edges.  

 

This patch comes with a super cute packaging. The yellow chick did a very good job attracting me, she really caught my attention. Anyway, the lip patch itself is colored transparent pink. I haven't tried any lip patch before so I really can't compare it to other brands.

The Verdict:

Okay, as I mentioned earlier I haven't tried lip patch from any other brand and that obviously mean that this was my first time using one. And all I can say is... this lip patch is not helpful at all. Why? simply because its effect is just like when you wet your lips. You can see on my before photo that it was really dry and there was no improvement on the after photo. It just looked soft and moisturized on photo but its really not, it was just because of the water from the patch. The smell was like those jelly toy that we used to play when we were kids, those that has a jelly human parts in it. LOL. 

If you still want to try it then go~ It might work on you! Although it does not work on me.

Review: Tony Moly Cat Chu Wink Crazy Tint Stick 02 Yellow + FOTD

Are you a Tony Moly lover? if yes, then you might be interested by this product. This is my second item from Cat's Wink line, and also my second tint from TM. I received this a couple of days ago or if you are a follower of mine on instagram then I guess you already seen this one. (IG: berrycreamie)

This was sent to my be Joy Kim, a reporter of BNTNews Korea for review purposes. Joy emailed me on the first day of 2013, so I am really overwhelmed and blessed to have a new sponsor just when the year started. Here is a small introduction about their company:

The box is really simple yet attractive, with the combination of black&orange it comes off perfectly plus the image of a very cute cat on the front makes it more cuter. It's really a good thing that the ingredients is in english and you can see that there is a Paraben in this product. 

I am very lucky to received this shade, I bet you know how much I love yellow ne? ^^ although I prefer it to be yellow all around. LOL It is still pretty. You might notice this too, Tony Moly does their packaging simple yet cool am I right? hahaha 

They focused on the cap and made it the black cat's lair. LOL.  

Swatches:

According to Tony Moly's How to use: Use it with lip brush but I don't think that a good idea why? because it is only a lip tint and more of a lipbalm for me so why use a lip brush right? Plus the tip of the stick itself is already pointed so even if you will use it on the outline of your lips it'll do the job perfectly. It is not a lipstick to begin with, yes? And if you thought that it might be the yellow tint when applied on your lips then worry not for this is a very light or should I say clear color just like lipbalms. 

The Verdict:

This kind of tints are becoming popular in SK lately but here in PH we already have this kind of tint but we called it Magic Lipstick. Anyway, I like this tint it does a very good job moiturizing my lips. Easy to apply and not oily at all so if you are using petroleum jelly as your lip moisturizer then I guess you should try this one. Smells like orange candy and not overwhelming, it won't hurt your nose. The more swipes you apply the more pink your lips will be but not like the effect of lipsticks huh. It is also long lasting, it will last the whole day so your lips will be moisturized the whole day. However, if you have a chapped lips be sure that you exfoliate/scrub your lips first before applying because it wont be as helpful as lipbalms.
