July 2013 Beauty Haul

My month will not end without buying anything and that really is stressful (in my wallet). Haha! 

I want to share with you my recent finds this month of July 2013. Some are bought by yours truly and some are for review purposes. Here they are...

Celeteque Multi-benefit BB Cream & Nivea Anti-Perspirant Invisible for black and white, was my recent purchase from sample room. I got these two for free! & take note they are not in sample size but in full size products~ I haven't using the bb cream yet but I've been hearing many good raves about it so I'll maybe use it anytime soon! :)

Etude house's haul in order to get a ticket for their Princess Academy 2013, I don't actually have any idea why I bought this Sweet Recipe Sliced Cake puff, Happy teatime Milk Tea Cleansing Cream & Soft Touch Auto-lipliner.

For the first time in my life, I actually won a giveaway!!!! And all thanks to Yette, I have now one check on my wishlist! how I wish that the sun beam was benetint. hahaha but its alright! I am very happy with it PLUS my very first MAC lipstick, shade? Candy Yumyum! I almost scream when I got home and saw the package from Yette.

REVIEW | Celeteque Skin Relief After-Sun Gel

We Filipinos often have this swimming outing with our families & friends on summer and even not. Yeah, summer is not the only season that has a super hot weather in our country it almost as if three fourths of the year is extremely hot. Because of that, we must have this protection for our skins. Sunblocks, creams or very common to apply before we indulged ourselves to the freshness of swimming pools or beach gives. So what to apply after the long hours of exposure under the sun? Celeteque Skin Relief After-Sun gel for you!

I got this from my last haul from Sample Room last month, I think. It's really a good thing that after the package had been delivered to our doorsteps, the day after there will be a small swimming outing together with my friends. Then I thought, "Maybe I should use this Celeteque Skin Relief After-Sun gel after all". I We used it before we jump in the pool, and of course after too. :)

The packaging is quite simple yet gives off this elegant/"what a good product" vibes, if you know what I mean. ^o^ It also has all information's you'll need about the product and all in written in English. It's also hygienic because of the super secure lid. Plus, its yellow! Haha!

The gel itself is transparent and also has a water-gel texture but not sticky. It's easy to apply and spreads on smoothly on skin. There is also a cooling sensation upon application. Scent? It's aloe vera! :) although just a small hint of it but I think that that was enough not to make the user's nose hurt.


THE VERDICT:

I used this twice and enough to make a review of it since I am not the only one (my friends) who used this Celeteque Skin Relief After-Sun gel. It did gave our skin a super soft and smooth feeling even after we swam under the sun for almost 6 hours. No sunburn, no itchy feeling, no dry or flake skin or any other skin irritation that are possibly happened to our skin.

I am not saying that this could replace your sunscreens etc., but is really good if you will apply it before and after your long sun exposure. And also, it doesn't mean that because it works on us, then it'll work on you too, we have different skin conditions.

Hello gorgeousness! Have you heard about Sample Room? if you did, then I guess you all knew that just recently they gave out many samples of Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum & power brightening mask. I know that these pair are really expensive and I was really lucky to be able to try them for free. Shiseido Whiter lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum & power brightening mask were also known as the Crush & Eject ultimate pair for ultimate spotless white skin.

Sample Room gave us a 9ml of the White lucent serum & 1 Power brightening mask for free~!!! And all I did was keep on checking their website until the samples are available after that you should have a very QUICK hands and of course internet connection because any samples from Sample Room will be gone any second. Thankfully I was quick enough ^^ LOL. Also, Sample Room also holds an event and will give out 3 full size of Shiseido White Lucent Pair to those who were able to get the samples to those who'll join their 7 day challenge. Of course, I joined! it's such a waste not to, yes yes? then let's move on to my review;

I rarely encounter sample size in a pump type, mostly comes in a tube type especially skin care products. And this one really is good, although you have to pump it repeatedly on your first try then after that it'll be easy to use.

Nothing special about the mask, just a normal packaging with the "How to use" part at the back.

I used the White Lucent Serum for seven days & used the mask on the seventh day (night) just as instructed by Sample Room for the 7day challenge.

I created a gif file for you to clearly see the consistency of the Shiseido intensive spot targeting serum. As you can see, it is very watery no sign of stickiness at all and because of that it is very easy to apply on face, absorbs by the skin after a minute of application. This serum has a little touch of floral with alcohol scent.

The moment I opened the Power brightening mask what i first noticed was "Wow! It was soaked too much!"  . It actually felt too thick for a single mask. My skin also feels very relaxed with the mask on plus with its powdery calming scent too, and after I removed it and turn the lights off (me & my sister was watching movies that night) my sister says: "Ate kitang kita yung mukha mo kahit sa dilim" so it only means that the instant brightening effect of the mask was indeed true. 

The Verdict:

NOTE: I tried my best to take the best shot of my face color and the photo below is 95% accurate to my actual skin tone.

I am loving this Shiseido White Lucent pair!  I really have a trouble hiding/concealing those face scars and I can say that with just 7 days usage of the serum, those scars lightens a bit and of course my whole face too. My face feel very smooth and soft now, I actually stopped using any other skin care products when I received my sample for me too see if it'll really work on me. And yes! it does work~ kkkk. Even my mother notices that my face is getting whiter. Also a good thing that it did not irritate my skin. Maybe if I will continue using this serum those scars will not be noticeable at all.

Review: Celeteque eye tuck plus Dark Circles lightener

Hi ladies~~ today Im going to finally post the review of my Celeteque eye tuck plus dark circle brightener which I got from sample room last year. This was stocked on my draft for almost a week or two now. It's just that my lappy is asking for reformat already so its kinda difficult for me to use it because of the lagginess. LOL 

Moving on to my review....

On the box itself you can see all the details that you need to know about the product the; Ingredients, Manufactured Date, Expiration Date, how to use etc etc and all was written in English. 

Comes in a simple white tube with twister white cap. It's a very hygenic packaging, because of the super small tip hole, you can easily control the amount you'll use without spilling or wasting any product. 

Texture & Color

Its color is pure white with a creamy and watery consistency. When applied its not heavy at all. A little amount goes a long way.

The Good:

- Affordable

- Moisturizing effect is superb!

- No scent

- Hygenic & portable packaging

The Bad:

- Does not lighten my under eye

Review: Davines Authentic Moisturizing Balm

Annyeong! Time sure flies so fast right? It's almost end of January. And to think that I only has 7 post so far for this year, then I must be really lazy. ^^ You know, it's really a hard thing to do the checking of entries on my giveaways and take note, I have 3 different ongoing giveaways. But seeing how you respond on it, my effort's worth it. 

Today I'm finally gonna post a review of Davines Authentic Moisturizing Balm which I got from Sample Room last year. check my post here.

The packaging is not that attractive to me but... we have the saying that "Don't judge the book by it's cover" right? This is a very sealed packaging you can really notice the freshness of the product every time you opened it. Unlike the other packaging that you'll fine some dried product on the mouth of the tube. Also, you can control the amount you wanna use. 

Mine's almost empty, maybe 3-4 uses then its gone. I often used it on my dry hands and my hair which was chemically treated with hair coloring. So this one's what I really need. 

The color is pure white and has a creamy and watery consistency. But it also feels like there's a paper ingredients in it for me. ^^ And here's a photo of my hair right after I woke up, you judge:

The Verdict:

This is my first product from Davines and after trying it, I would definitely try their other hair products. This one's a superb, it has a multiple uses; hair, body and face. It makes my hair very soft and moisturized the whole day without even brushing/combing it *seriously* LOL. I also liked the scent of this balm. At first I thought that it might be greasy just like any other conditioner but it's not. At some point, it can remove make-up as well but not that good with eyeliners & mascaras. So, with your P1,250 its definitely worth it.
