Achieve the Korean-like Glow with ElishaCoy Always Nuddy CC Cushion

I really am one of those Korean fanatics specially k-dramas in where the actresses and even the actors have a super flawless and glowing skin that I admire. That was when I started to do some researches on how to achieve at least a bit of Koreans glowing skin and leads me to the ever famous BB Cream. Did you know that right after my research, I decided to do my own blog? Why you say? Because I read many blogs that's raving for Korean products and sharing their knowledge about makeups and blah and blah.

What's the latest Korean beauty trend today? It is none other than the cushion foundation. It is very popular in South Korea that every make-up brands has their own version of cushion foundation. Always nuddy cc cushion comes in a simple white and gold packaging. The information written on the box is all in English and complete while the cc cushion is in a compact type. It also comes with a mirror and rubycell puff for application. 

         

The product has a seal and  a plastic separator from the cushion and puff. 

         

Compared to the other brands, Elishacoy made their cc cushion clean and white but you'll notice around the sponge that it is full of product.

         

In order to let the cc cream out, you have to push the sponge in. You can either use your fingers or the puff. 

VERDICT:

ElishaCoy Always Nuddy CC Cushion's texture is a bit watery, at first application you'll feel a bit stickiness but it'll be gone after a few seconds. It is also lightweight even if you applied three to four layers on your face. And since it also has a SPF50+/PA+++, you can now skip the sun screen as this alone will act as one as well. 

ElishaCoy cc cushion gives a natural glowing finish just like what Korean-actress has, that is because of the Jewel Complex that it contains. It also moisturizes and blends perfectly on skin. The custom-made puff included has antibacterial processed double type that great and evenly blends out the cc cream. According to Elishacoy, it also has a cooling effect upon application, but I don't really experienced it but what I noticed is that it really gives my skin hydration so you'll feel refreshed but no cool/mint sensation. 

It looks very natural and whitens your skin tone in an instant. You can wear this at home, school or work and it'll stay intact for about 6-8 hours. As of its coverage, it's light to medium, depending on how thick you will apply. Below is a photo to test its coverage.

Not bad for a cc cream, eh? I applied three layers on this and as you can see the black heart became grey-ish.

FOTD + Review: The Face Shop Lovely me:ex Petit Angle Blusher 02 Blooming Love

Hi ladies~ today I'm gonna post a review of my current blusher which I got a last month from Seoul Catch. The Face Shop had a big sale last Christmas so I have to take advantage to it and bought some of their new products. And now my current blusher is The Face Shop Lovely me:ex Petit Angle Blusher.

I've been eyeing on this Lovely me:ex Petit Angle Blusher for a long time but hesitated to buy because I still have a lot of my Etude House Marble Marble blusher left. But when The Face Shop announced the sale then I didn't have a second thought of ordering.

Comes in a simple plastic yet attractive packaging. The Aifel tower design did the trick plus the hearts and ribbons. And the blusher itself is really pretty with 4 different colors; pink, peach and light pink.

Here is a swatch of the Lovely me: Ex petit angle blusher on the back of my hand and on my finger. You can see that it gives a baby pink color and a velvety finish.

The Verdict:

Well, this Petit Angle Blusher is really getting into me. I am loving it because of the healthy blush it gave on my cheeks, just the right pinkish effect and very natural. At first I thought that it might be very shimmering just like the Etude House Marble Marble blusher, but this one is different it gives a sweet pick-me-up subtle color with a soft touch of shimmer which I really love. Plus I also uses this as eye shadow for my everyday look and can be used as highlighter too, so what more will you look for? Its definitely a good deal although it's a bit expensive here in Philippines I guess this is worth the buy.

I really recommend this product, and I might try the two other shades of this *wink*. So before I finish this post, I will leave you my FOTD using the The face shop Lovely me: Ex Petit Angle Blusher 02 Blooming Love.

Review: Liz K Color Veil UV Protection SPF50+, PA+++

 

 Hello my dearest~! I am truly sorry if I rarely update my blog, it's just that the month of December really is a hectic schedule for me. And now that the Christmas already passed, we are now getting ready in welcoming 2013!!! *yay!! Buying fruits, foods and gifts to those that I missed giving presents last christmas. It is very stressful but I enjoyed doing these kind of stuffs ^^.

And what I have today was the first sponsored product Wishtrend for review purposes. They have  chosen their first 10 ambassadors around the world and luckily I was one of the chosen one LOL. They gave me this tinted Sun cream, uhmmm actually when I looked on their website this one is on the bb cream line and since I did not find any BB cream word to the product itself then this is a tinted sun cream for me. :P

 This color veil comes in two(2) types, the one with silver cap and the one with black cap. What's the difference of the two? well, the one with silver cap which is the one that I have comes with four(4) different shades the; 10 Silk Ivory, 15 Gorgeous Beige, 20 Natural Beige, 30 Dark Beige. The ones with black cap only have 1 shade, the Colorless&Transparent.

Texture & Color:

 

I have mine in shade 30 which is the darkest shade among the silver caps but if you will look into its color it's not that dark just like what I have imagined. I was also scared that it might be too dark on my face but after opening it and tried, thankfully it matches my skin tone well. The Consistency is not watery at all, not sticky nor heavy when applied.

When worn:

This is what it looks like when worn. I tried it on my sister's face coz we have the same skin tone, actually I have my own face pictured first for the review but I accidentally deleted it >.< 

It does not look too dark or too light on my sister's and of course on me too. 

 

My Verdict:

 I so love this product! I was actually thinking of buying this one after my first tube. It's very lightweight on face and not sticky. And take note, it has SPF50+, PA+++ I normally sees SPF50 but not SPF50+ just what does it mean? LOL Anyway I do feel protected whenever I am outdoors especially in this very hot weather here in Pinas! Also has a semi-matte finish and moisturizes my skin well. It just so sad that it is not available locally.

I really recommend this product! A must-have product when summer hits us next year.

Review: Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer #3

Hello ladies~! I've been quite busy doing nothing these past few days (What? LOL) I don't know why but I am just too lazy to do a product review and only post some healthy tips so that my blog wouldn't be outdated. And now that I am in a mood for a little talk again then I guess I should atleast post a review about this product.

I got this for pre-order from one of my favorite online shop Han Ryu last month, so yeah this is really a delayed post forgive me . Anyway, I ordered this one together with Holika Holika Face CD Pact but that was not for me but for my aunt. That was a good choice of her, too bad that she didn't want me to try it LOL. It's okay because I've always wanted to have one of this Volumer ever since I watched one of the episode of Get It Beauty (korean show). Why? then let's move on to my review....

Comes in a purple box with both Korean & English language written on it. Ingredients are also written in English so no need to guess or research about it ^^. It is actually very simple compared to other box from Etude House. Anyway the box really matches it bottle, take a look...

A simple yet cool bottle indeed! Comes with a pump and a white bottle with a touch of purple for its text which made it more sosyal. 

I know, I know that the photos suddenly became small my apologies its just that I did not realized that the setting on my phone camera was set to its smaller size. The color, it's soft pink but really was transparent when blended. And what I like about it, is that it is not sticky unlike the #1 version of it which I tried once on SM Bacoor.

Just as I expected it gave me the healthy and beautiful glow but doesn't look greasy, it also looks good when you are outdoors because its shine is really obvious yet natural. Although it feels a bit oily but I guess that was part of it if you really want to achieve the Korean glow.

And that's what I'm talking about!! I've watched this tip from Get It Beauty and hurriedly ordered a Nymph Aura Volumer just to try this out. Actually what she used on the video was a lipstick but I tried it and did not gave me a good result or should I say that they are like water and oil which you cannot put them together. So I tried it with a tint and yosh~ It was a success!!! HAHAHA Just look on its effect? I guess the photos shows it right?  

My verdict? Uhm...... I really do not have much to say but I really love this product, not just because of it being a highligher but as a blush too. Gives me a brightening glow finish, did not make my pores visible. Only last for about 3hrs which is the only thing that I didn't like about it but still the beautiful glow really made it a very good product not unless if you do not want dewy/glow finish then this is not the product for you! =P I did not have any regrets buying it, this will take me forever because a little amount goes a long way. And oh, one more thing if you want to set it with powder do it with a loose one so that it would not cake much ( just based on my experience :P )
