L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara Review

How are ya my lazy girlfriends! Who here loves mascara? Well, this post is for you, because I will be reviewing the mascara that everyone has been raving about ever since it came out. The L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise is the mascara many beauty enthusiasts are swearing by. It’s not that I can blame them, this mascara is nice. Really nice.

Performance

I am no mascara expert; I don’t even wear mascara that much (I’m currently obsessing with eyelash extensions). During the days when I don’t have lash extensions on, L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara is one that I often use. Not on the holy grail level, but close.

L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara is housed in a pretty, and pink tube with gold accent – simple design, yet very catchy and can make a beautiful prop for a flatlay. Its brush is big with soft bristles that deposits a good amount of product to coat my thin lashes. I have small eyes so I really have to be careful when using this one if I want to have a clean finish without any smudges.

The application is rather smooth compared to other mascaras that I am currently using. Due to its 200+ bristles, two coats are enough to make my lashes visible. My lashes tripled in volume, but only a small difference in length. I care more on volume than length, so I don’t really mind. As long as it adds depth to my eyes, then I’m good.

The formula is thick yet lightweight. Still, I noticed that it can’t hold the curl longer than I expected it to be. Lash Paradise doesn’t clump or smudges under the eyes. Twelve hours is its maximum staying power and needed an oil-based makeup remover to fully remove it from the lashes.

Review: K-Palette 1Day Tattoo Set (Real Lasting Eyeliner & Volume Curl Mascara)

 One day tattoo sounds really nice, yes? Especially if you’re an eyeliner enthusiast like me. I like my eyeliner as long lasting as possible, and since I’m learning to love mascara, it should be long-lasting too. But seriously, a 1-day tattoo eyeliner and mascara in one set? That’s a different story! Just like my K-Palette Limited Edition 1Day Tattoo Set.

There’s nothing special with the packagings of K-Palette. All of their products come in a very simple and eye-catchy designs. Let me first tell you about the K-Palette Volume Curl Mascara.

 Volume Curl Mascara has a curved and slim wand with small bristles. I like how it deposit the right amount of mascara on to my lashes and separates them. Because of the curved style of the wand, it gives a fanned-out curl lashes.

The mascara is really easy to work with. It can give your lashes deeper and darker hue because of the jet-black color of it. It’s very black that sometime, I don’t feel the need to tightline my eyes. I use it everyday, and for me, I layer is enough. If you prefer a much dramatic look, just go ahead and apply more layers. I tried to apply at least 3-layers and it feels really heavy. In my picture below, I applied 2-layers of mascara, and as you can see, it has a very nice volume already. No clumping, flaking, and smudging that I encountered with this mascara. Plus, it stays all day!

 This has a waterproof but washable formula, so your lashes are free from breakage everytime you get it off. Another thing that I like about this mascara is that every time that I remove it, the smudge on my lower lid is very minimal.

 K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner is just your typical pen eyeliner; this is very similar to my Etude House Drawing Show Brush Liner. The eyeliner has precise nylon felt tip, which you can easily use to line your eyes.

The eyeliner’s color is super black, however, because of the very thin tip of the eyeliner, you can’t get much product in one go so you have to apply another layer to make it more visible. But yes, this eyeliner has a super black color and is very opaque. I find it easy to use, especially when doing a winged eyeliner.

It stays all day without smudging. It has the same formula with the mascara which is waterproof, but washable with water.

REVIEW | Covergirl Lashblast Fushion Mascara

Big and dolly eyes, I’ve always wanted to have that kind of eyes. With my short and straight-facing-down lashes, it seems impossible, yes? That is why I started to use mascara. Even though I do use mascara, it is always the one that I forgot to do when I’m doing my makeup. Despite of that, I want to introduce my new mascara, Covergirl Lashblast Fushion Mascara.

I got this Covergirl Lashblast Fushion Mascara as a swap for my used mascara during the last BDJ Box Beauty Social. Since then, I got really excited to try this one out. 

With its purple and chubby packaging, I'd say that it is really cute. The packaging reminds me of the mascaras from Maybelline. It's not bulky and will easily fit in your purse. There aren't any design on the tube yet for me it is still pretty nice, yes? After all, Pantone is the color of the year, might as well grab any purple-ish items for luck!

The mascara wand, on the other hand, is not too long or too short, the length is just enough for my grip. There's nothing special with the bristles except for its tapered end. As I point out before, I am not really familiar with mascaras', just as long as they lengthen and add volume to my lashes, then, they will stay in my makeup stash. 

The formulation is really impressive and I love it! Covergirl Lashblast Fushion Mascara gives enough length and volume to my lashes. It's very dependable and easy to use. Non-scented and is mild. Let me show you how this mascara works on my short and untamed lashes.

Because the end of the wand is tapered, obviously, the distribution of the product to the wand isn't equal. I don't really have a problem with that since the wand end is pretty friendly user for my lower lashes. 

Just as I said, Covergirl Lashblast Fushion Mascara delivers length and volume. Plus, it dries up easily so you won't have to worry messing up your makeup. One coat for your everyday look and add one more coat to add a dramatic effect on the eyes. And, it removes very easily with my cleanser, no more oil-based makeup remover. This mascara is water-resistant and not water-proof that is why it is much easier to remove and you don't have to worry about hurting your eyes while removing it.

No issue of clumping, flaking, or smudging and it do stays all day! It seems as if I am wearing falsies, agree? Another fact about this mascara is that it separates my lashes well and I think the photos above speaks more than my words. Hmmm.. did I miss any? Make Up For Ever Aqua Smokey Lash Review

Mascara. Honestly, I am not fond of them but I still find them necessary. It’s not like I can’t leave the house without ‘em but you know the feeling when your lashes are all facing down and not to mention, short. And yes, that is the number one reason why I rarely do a mascara review on this blog. But right now, I wanted to share this little buddy that somehow tamed my lashes. Make Up For Ever Aqua Smokey Lash. I got this from Get It beauty box by Memebox, it’s a sample though but will definitely, surely last on me.

VERDICT:

This sample actually looks like the one in full-size, just that it is shorter. You can easily put it in your makeup kit without eating much space. The black and white with blue lining looks really elegant! But since some of the information was written in Korean, I can’t say many details about it. Still, here’s some that I found in MUFE website.

Aqua Smoky Lash is the waterproof version of Smoky Lash, a mascara that provides volume, length and instant curl to the lashes. Its waterproof formula ensures that it will not run under the most extreme conditions, under a spray of water, at the beach, or in the swimming pool.

Ingredients List:

·         Film-forming polymers Volatile oil
·         Beeswax & high-viscosity polymer Vegetable waxes
·         Bio-Extender
·         D-Panthenol
·         Fragrance free, natural black mineral pigments
·         Paraben free
·         Ophthalmologist tested

MUFE says that Aqua Smokey Lash is Waterproof extra black mascara, and it really is! It’s waterproof and smudge-proof as well. It’s a shame I didn’t took a photo-test to prove it, you know… laziness stroked me. 

So, yes, it is waterproof and smudge-proof too, even if you rub your eyes the mascara will stay on your eyes. That being said, obviously, you will need an oil-base makeup remover. (I suggest to use the Lancome Bi-Facil Non Oily Instant Cleanser.)

Here's a before and after photos of my lashes. I know, it's my first time showing off my eye lashes for review because I always let me sister do the job before. :)

This mascara do a very good job lengthening my lashes and add enough volume to make eye-opening effect. Put on multiple coats and I swear there'll be no clumping. As you can see on the photos, one coat is actually enough, enough for everyday look. The mascara last a whole day and holds the curl pretty well. It's lightweight and doesn't harden the lashes compared to other mascaras I've tried before. But what I really love about MUFE Aqua Smokey Lash is that it really is noticeable!

REVIEW | TONY MOLY Maxi Volume Force Mascara 02 Curl & Long Lash

Today is mascara day! I got this TONY MOLY Maxi Volume Force Mascara from KPOPTOWN last week. You can barely see a mascara on my vanity space or even in my make-up pouch. To be honest, I only buy mascara everytime the one I have is empty, unlike bb creams, lippies, eyeliners & so on that I have stocks ready to use after one another. Does TONY MOLY Maxi Volume Force Mascara worth a try? let's find out!

★PACKAGING: TONY MOLY did a very artistic way of packing this mascara. They created a butterfly mascara! The tube itself became the body of the butterfly and the wings is where the information's of the product is written. A very clever idea indeed! Don't you think so too? ^o^ The one I have has a yellow wings and the other 2 has pink & blue wings. I really like the idea of the packaging of this mascara, it's simple yet it'll definitely catch your eyes. The tube comes is a silver coloured with VF printed on it - which stands for Volume Force. It's lenght is just like any normal mascara's in the market. While the wand applicator is long enough to apply the mascara easily. You can also notice that the wand has a fiber, to help the lashes become longer. Nothing special on the wand though. Just the typical mascara wand. 

★SWATCH:  I swatched it on my arm and as you can see, the mascara has a jet black color and creamy. It's also easy to dry which is an advantage & disadvantage at the same time. Now let's see if this mascara is water-proof and smudge-proof.

                  

Okay, so I guess those photo's shows the results right? I'm sorry, If I'm too lazy to right but "Pictures speaks louder then Words" right? (I made that up, yes) LOL. To sum it up, maxi Volume Force Mascara is not-so smudge-proof, and for waterproof-ness it's a 50-50. Why? well, because on that test, I dipped my arm in a tub full of water which technically will not happen to me while wearing this mascara. I did that test to see if it can be removed by water and the answer is yes! And if you worry if this will give you the black tears (when you cry) or black drops under your eyes (when you walk/run under the rain) then the answer is a big N-O! :) It didn't promise us a waterproof-ness anyway, so why rant about it, right? XD

★VERDICT:  Maxi Volume Force Mascara 02 in any facet did gave my lashes the curl & long lash that I want. I mean, that's what it promises right? :) also, it gives just enough volume on your lashes without clumping or flaking. Perfect for your everyday look. I used no-eyelash curler on the photo above and look how pretty the curling effect of this mascara is, plus the lengthening is a superb too! Staying power lasted for about 6-7 hours without smudging (not unless you'll rub your eyes hardly) and fading. No weird smell either. :) So, to summarize it all, I love this mascara! ♥

Review: Essence Get BIG! Lashes Volume Curl Mascara

I never used mascaras before, for I believed that putting a mascara on will make my make-up more obvious and I really prefer to have the no-makeup makeup, if you know what I mean. And late 2012 I learned to love and appreciate the importance of mascara on my makeup, why? well I just realized that putting on mascara will define your eye makeup more and because of that I've been searching for the good one with a good price. Until I found this.. Essence Get BIG! Lashes Volume Curl Mascara.

Essence is a popular make-up brand in Europe which was recently locally available here in Philippines. I first heard that they have a stall in SM Mall of Asia, but when I visited SM Bacoor which is super near from my place I was so shocked that they already had a stall there and I didn't hesitated to try at least one of their products. So I bought their Essence Get BIG! Lashes Volume Curl Mascara since my current mascara is almost empty.

Essence get BIG lashes volume curl mascara comes in a silver plastic tube and maybe that is one of the reason why it is super cheap but still the packaging really look promising.

It has a huge brush wand and very soft bristles which I don't have a problem with that. And although its huge it does not mess over your lids, plus point for that for me coz I am not yet that good on applying mascara. LOL

SWATCH:

I swatch the mascara on my hands for you to see how jet black this is. And on the second photo you will noticed that I tried its water-proof-ness and the answer is Yes!
Smudge-proof? well, yes but not after it got wet. Refer on the 3rd and 4th photo.

PERFORMANCE:

NOTE: I did not used eyelash curler

I tried it on my cousin, if you were a follower of mine for quite a long time you might noticed that I didn't yet posted my lashes for reviews LOL. But my cousin have a super short eye lashes too so I considered having her as my model. ^^

I won't say much for this, I'll let you judge its performance. ^o^


THE VERDICT:

I have a love relationship with this product. I love how it volumize my lashes and curls it at the same time without even using eylash curler. I'd say that it does a decent job at lengthening my lashes too which makes mine and my cousins lashes visible. It stays up the whole day and doesn't smudge or flake. No clumping issue too. No weird smell actually it doesn't have any scent at all. It also dries up fast so remember to closed it after use but the good thing about drying up fast is you don't have to worry if you suddenly rub your eyes after a few seconds of application.
